Man Megabus is always cold as all hell. Like buy a Popsicle in LA, eat it in SF cold  :smh:

People on my bus were layering themselves in extra t-shirts and towels

TIL that people on the west coast use towels for warmth

Appreciated. Used it in EU. Cost me 20 euros to go from 1 country to another [emoji]128526[/emoji]

Frontier is basically the airline equivalent to megabus

Heard good stuff about megabus from the homies though.. used to have $5 rides to NY but they discontinued the route :smh:

round trip from LA to SF $4 earlier this year...bought overnight tickets but it seems that they caught on cause i dont see them go for less than $35 each way now

Megabus always on the news here. Always overturning on the highway. Just a few weeks ago that boy caught on fire, blew up and overturned

Allegiant Airlines is pretty cheap too.

I remember buying tickets from a small airport in Central CA to Las Vegas for

Yeah I love Megabus. Use that overnight jawn to go from LA or OAK. Stop in Kettleman City for food and chill.

I love roadtrips so I don't mind it. Gotta try BoltBus tho

Even if you book it within 2weeks u still pay under 50 sometimes for round trip

I went with my cousin one way from Chicago to KC for $1.50, will never do it again. It's a great option if you're on a tight budget though.

If youre a guy rolling solo or going with other guys i'm sure its fine. But if youre going with a girl, being cramped on a bus for 8 hours from toronto to nyc won't be too fun, but If you can cop it for a few dollars each way the price definitely can't be beat.

Huh I would think being cramped up with a girl for 8 hours is better than your boys

I used to take Megabus when I went to Syracuse Uni, def appreciated because it's more updated and more space. Greyhound is cool because they give you discounts if you have a college ID.

Amtrak is unappreciated, why would someone pay to take a train when it cost more than a plane ticket? :smh:

I've taken the grayhound between Tucson and Phoenix several times. Its about a 2 hr ride and about $20 roundtrip fee. Not bad at all, although the people and drivers can be sketchy

Those bus rides are fine of its under 4 hours in my opinion. Any further than that and it isn't worth it unless you can't afford anything else.

We have an Amtrak station here that costs as much as Southwest airlines :smh: might as well fly

I ***** with megabucks hard. I catch that joint between Milwaukee and Cleveland a lot. Usually cost me less than I would pay in gas just driving one way.

Service is Def appreciated

I used to love Megabus, but after the people with limited funds/no public transit etiquette caught on, I've taken it less and less. I go from Baltimore-NYC 4-6 times a year and its just steadily gotten worse every time. You got people bringing chicken boxes or nasty Chinese take out onto the bus. I've seen and heard mothers yelling at their children for the entire trip about the kids putting their stuff/legs/arms on their parents area. I've EVERY SINGLE TIME for the past four trips had someone sitting in my vicinity holding their iphone/ipod up to their face with their music blaring just loudly enough to be annoying without headphone (why don't you use headphones, especially on a bus?!). I've had people have hour long yelling conversations on there along with one time a guy doing a multiple hour job interview for some really, really strange company.
They need to offer more reserved seating - maybe for the entire bottom level - word to Snowpiercer.

I did the math and it costs me roughly $8.00 more for me to just drive up there factoring in gas and tolls (screw those bridge tolls!).

^ this is why I take bolt bus. But me sleeping the trip from DC-NYC is grand. Shoot even the bus ride from DC-Boston was decent on Boltbus.

damn, that's brutal, I've only taken Toronto to NYC and back and people are pretty quiet especially cuz I usually take the overnight trip.
