SERIAL PODCAST - Adnan Granted a new Trial

Did any of you guys watch The Jinx on HBO? I'm going through it now. Kind of similar to the Serial case, but interesting dichotomies with regards to the legal battle. Adnan's lawyer was hot garbage compared to Robert Durst's squad

Robert rich as hell

Going to start listening to Undisclosed today. Looking forward to it.

Just listened to the first two episodes...Holy crap this case was handled even more incorrectly than originally thought.

Okay...this case is now crazy...Detective's coaching/bullying Jay to give the answer they want? My goodness, who committed the murder?!?!?!

Loving the undisclosed pod. Serial dynasty is decent as well, but it's a little cheesier.

I don't think the cops were in on the coverup, but I have no doubt that they bullied Jay into his story just to move the case along. Hope Adnan wins this next series of appeals, etc.

the undisclosed podcast just annoys me because it's so Pro-Adnan. I get it that it's from Rabia and Adnan's defense.. but it's just so one sided that it's hard to care about it. Very interesting nonetheless.

After spending some time reflecting on this peculiar case, a few thoughts both in favor and against his innocence.

In defense of Adnan:

It boggles my mind that apparently zero DNA evidence was acquired throughout the case, especially considering where the body was found. Also, in regards to Jay's telling of the day I find it very hard to believe this guy just blindly went along with covering up a murder for a guy he smokes weed with. I just can't get past this fact, why help him cover up a murder you have no stock in. It makes literally no sense, and they make no attempt to delve into answering this question is puzzling. Rarely, if ever does a man just snap without any inclination of violence in the past. As for Jay, the fact that Jay throws away his clothes, reeks of guilt.

Against Adnan:

I don't understand how he can't know what he did that day. He maintains it was an ordinary day, and he did smoke ALOT of weed, but it never adds up to me why he has a blank for his whereabouts considering he A.) Received a phone call from the POLICE  and B.) Gave his "friend" Jay his car and phone for what he claims was several hours. Also, it seems to me it was definitely someone Hae knew that killed her which essentially leaves 3 suspects. Don, Jay, and Adnan.M Motive wise, out of those 3 suspects, I have a hard time putting any of the other two as more likely to kill her. Also, why not take the stand? I could understand once but after the second trial isn't going well and the entire case is your word vs. Jay's you almost have to.

Everytime I see this thread on the first page
I think season 2 has started
Only to be disappointed when I open the thread :smh:

The Undisclosed Podcast has been a solid filler since Serial ended.

All the details that they bring up and how they dig deeper to reveal how crappy those detectives were in putting Adnan in jail is pretty eye opening.

^ yes, they do a good job of doing deeper investigation that serial did not. Long story short, they find tons of evidence Asti why Adnan shouldn't be locked up.

still think he did it. think jay was an accomplice, whether it be messing with the body or driving him

I'm still curious as to why, the detective's dismissed Hae's BF "Don" from the investigation.

There's an article out where he seems pretty sketch as well lol.

His mommy and step momy were his Alibis. That was an amazing discovery by some redditor. Don should have definitely been looked at much longer than he was.
