OFFICIAL STOCK MARKET AND ECONOMY THREAD VOL. A NEW CHAPTER

I'm a contrarian when it comes to diversification. I would rather have all my eggs in a few baskets than 8+. This forces me to trade only the best setups. Learned about this style of trading and investing in a book and it works for me. Less is better. I forget who said it but it was like I would rather have all my eggs in one basket so I can keep a better eye on them

When your YTD is still down the toilet in January :frown:

I think pretty much everybody is in the same boat.

Scratch that.

Thanks Zuck!

my buddy who works at GPRO is literally crying. dude cant even sell his stocks yet
did he have a chance to sell when the stock was almost 100?

no, i think when he got hired he was given stock options and had to wait like a yr or something like that. went from looking to buying a house and now just trying to unload it once he can
This is pretty standard across the industry.

Can't really depend on stock options. No need to cry.

Yup standard, but I can't imagine being in that situation. To lose 90% of what used to be a fortune. I'd probably cry too.

Shorts for anything must be happy this earnings season. LNKD got murked on light guidance despite beating EPS and revs pretty handily.

Kohl's, Splunk & DATA all down big too.

They've been getting hit pretty hard after good numbers.

But who the hell knows whats what right now anyway.

Just hoping that I can get in on the market bounce back before the real Bear market comes around.
