This thread can definitely use another kickstart so I'm up for it. Just need to set some rules so that it doesn't end up just being gambling.

I'm thinking:
- No options
- No leveraged ETFs
- Market cap has to be greater than $X million
- No one stock can make up more than 20% of the portfolio

Momentum is a part of the game, so it's cool with me to not have cap restrictions

RULES

- The game will run from December 12, 2016 to June 12, 2017. New participants can NOT join after the start date. Please sign up before December 12.

- All symbols can be traded.

- Short selling and margin selling are allowed.

- Starting balance is $300,000.

- Commission/fee per trade is $10. There is no limit on amount of daily trades.

- Participants will be able to view each others' portfolios.

- You can place your trades now, but they will only take effect on the December 12 start date.

- Because this is NT's first stock game, this will be a much more flexible, straightforward, but shorter-termed game with essentially no limitations.

I had a buy one get one free offer that I shared with someone. I rationed my burrito yesterday so that I would have lunch today. My company provides Doritos & popcorn so I ate some of that so my stomach would stop growling.
