got some dia puts friday at .44 now they are at 2.08...the dow was up 260 points so i figured it would be down by now

put it this way, i wouldnt use any size with any of those companies. if you're gonna get in, you could use these recent swing lows as your stop but i wouldnt be loose with my rules if those levels get breached.

Been trading an inverse oil ETF on my practice investopedia account for some months now...
was up like 5K+ yesterday. Wanted to take the money but decided to wait and see if it'd go up some more today.
About 4.7K in the red at the end of the trading day... x
What did I learn? Take profits whenever you can...

take profits and just know these etfs, mostly the leveraged ones, are better served as day trading instruments than buy and holding since they have sort of a time decay element to them.Been trading an inverse oil ETF on my practice investopedia account for some months now...
