See even then $20 too much for me to only get 3 stock
Plus to have that time limit
Don't want my loss to be because of time limit
Plenty of times I came back with 1 stock and someone else had like 2 or 3
With that time limit people will just run
And I hate that
I don't think ganging up on will really be a problem cause everybody will be for themselves
Maybe if we had a team tourney which could be next if this goes good
I agree no items though
Stage should be random just to be fair
And only on the omega or battlefield like stages

Just to try and help get some direction.

BRACKETS (I think 1v1 is the way to go. Set it up and have each pair get it done on their own time within a reasonable time, like I wouldn't be able to just spend the whole day playing. Also, open it up to Winners and Losers, granted we get enough people. Best of 3 or first to 3 wins. And then best of 5/first to 5, TWITCH streamed for championships (LOL))

STOCK (anything more than 5, even 5 is pushing it, is going to be ridiculous. I get that putting in $20 for such low amount of stock but why stray far from what works.)

TIME LIMIT (this is important to keep things moving, especially if you guys decide to knock it out in one day. 8 minutes sound pretty decent.

ITEMS OFF and NONE

STAGES Omega stages should work just fine, although I don't know if it prevents yellow devil from coming up.

CHARACTERS Fair game. No added stuff, just the default roster. Thought it would be fun to have a round of random character selection to spice it up.


Pretty standard rules.

If anyone wants to get down on 3DS, haven't played too many people, I'd love to get some matches in.

Hmmmm I can get with this breakdown
How about 10 min though
That way breakdown is about 2 min per stock
I believe we can all spectate
So what's good everybody down with these rules

Son be trying to take my money but add my Nintendo ID to the OT and I am for the two players to set up their own time to play. I am more for a no limit but 10 sounds fine depending on the stock

I was under the impression we were doing an 8 player (or however many as long as it's under 8) battle. We could do 1 v 1's too or have maybe 2 different 4 player smash battles going on. Either way
