Oh they picked out 1 color in the tongue to use in the color description and left out the blue and yellow? It's dark green In the tongue. Midsole is midnight fog.

Looks like grey and not green or olive to me

maybe I'm just high. But is that not an olive green bolt on the side of the tongue in the larger picture on the left?? Or is that a pic of the OGs??

Dam, I just bought some green shorts...

Think we also have to remember that every tongue is different. May just not be on this particular tongues.

These should have drop on July 4th, now it's impossible to get time off from work. Might try online , nothing else from the brand really jumping out at me at this point.

After this release, I don't see myself copping anything else until the UNC 1s in December.

Edit: UNC 1s release on Halloween

All I have bought this year are the Melo 1s and NYC 1s. Trying to get Chicago 1s, still hoping for that raffle call.
 
As much as I would want these back in my life, I'm going to pass.  Had the OGs as a kid, which means they have high nostalgia value.  Pretty satisfied with the Hare 7's I got this month and was fortunate to get a pair with decent craftsmanship, but the price tags of retros have been such a turn off.  

Already knew that going into this whole "remastered" era that we'd have to be somewhat more selective of what we purchase.  I just hope everyone who really wants these will get them, and that JB steps up on the craftsmanship in order to avoid anther Hare 7 debacle.

Not helping! 

On the real, I kind of made it a subconscious goal to grab (OG) color ways that I didn't have as a kid.  

Ex. Had the Bordeaux in 1992 -> Got Hare's in 2015; Had Powder Blue 10s in 1995 -> Got Double Nickels in 2015; Had Black Metallic 5s in 1990 (my first pair of AJs) -> Got Black Tongue 5s in 2013.

As for the 8s, I was fortunate to have both the Aquas and the Playoffs in 1993, so I may end up skipping the Aqua 8s as well.

ALTHOUGH I currently do not have an AJ8 in my 'rotation' at the moment........ hmmmmmm...
 
Hype for these doesn't seem to be too high to be honest. Hares seemed to have more hype

The Chi 1s is the only release I've seen with real classic "hype".

Most likely these are Reps, at least I hope so for the sake of that feathered light grey sued. Way to light just Awful.
 
All these pics probably are fakes which is why they wont give us a complete side view of the shoe but thats most likely what the real thing will look like
