The 1.5 came out after the 1s, it was made to test the Jordan 2 outsole. It wasn't actually scrapped, just a forgotten concept.

The toe box probably has to do with the size you're looking at.

The 1.5 name also refers to you're probably going to have to go a full 1.5 size down in them because they're some big banana boat lookin sneakers

Strange footaction and footlocker haven't updated their release locators yet. From what I seen on the champs release locator there should be no problems getting these as long as u put in a little work.

So I'm guessing these have the short grain of Nubuck on the grey panels like the OG instead of the longer grain on the 2011 that you could visibly see change tone when brushed back and forth?

For the love of god... Different people have different feet but, again, 7s with sizing have usually ran big in the past so if you're a size 10 you might have noticed the 2011 size 10 to be on the bigger side and were able to make a 9.5 work. Cool, that's fine. This year, the year of the 7, retros are 'remastered' so sizing and fit have probably been tweaked by JB and a size 10 for example fits like a size 10 and not a 10.5. Meaning you should probably stay tts (True To Size) and a size 10 will fit like a size 10.
But remember your feet may still be different so try em on if you can. Or if you copped the hares, Barcelona nights/days, or French blues take yo lazy *** to your closet or the shoe rack you harassed other members about only to find out it's from 'Ikea' and try em on. That would be the best indicator of what size you should actually go with when you go to your local to actually cop these Bordeauxs which you will then take home only to hop on NT to complain about the splotchy paint job on the peaks or the yeast-rising effect on the toe box all while the next guy cries about NDC not doing releases anymore...

Not a huge fan of this version. Still have the last release and its nearly flawless after multiple wears. Ran really big IMO the last time around.

But to rebuttal u go to the cigar 7 thread and ask them about sizing them cigar 7 were sung as a mug.
I will say this most limited Jordan's tend to have better molds quality and as such could effect sizing. Seeing as these are a massive gr I would use the last massive gr 7 (hares) as a size guide for u
Now I know 60% of dudes will not try on their hare cause they "DS" and get their rocks off at staring at shoe and saying they are DS. Imma try on my hares when I get home. But those who have tried on hares let that be the guide.
