BORDEAUX 7S JULY 18th 2015

Super limited releases will spell drama tbh. Heck I could enter for NYC and just fly up their cop and be done with it.

Since the flight would be free 99

I honestly don't ever see my self doing that though I doubt anything that limited comes along.

that is what may happen. some may enter just because and that would be nikes fault for such an open procedure

even if you dont hit on raffles, you will most likely be able to grab a pair in 1 of the stores around you.
sometimes people tend to forget that there will be many many many people entering like 10+ raffles, but theyre not entering to buy all 10 pairs. they just entered 10 raffles to have the best chance at winning the 1 or 2 pairs they want. the rest will be unclaimed.

perfect example is you. are you gonna pick up all 10 pairs if u win? im assuming not lol. dont sweat it. you will most likely get yours.
So if I strike out on a raffle, I should just go up to the store and see if any pairs are unclaimed?
yup, thats 1 of the easiest ways to do it. hit up different chains. u should call first to ask each stores procedure for unclaimed pairs. most will release unclaimed pairs for sale at a certain time, and some will reraffle. b optimistic, you will eat bro.

i got entered into the raffle at my local FNL & they left the top of the ticket stub with my name # & sz. should i be worried she wrote my info on a piece of paper before she brought back a ticket? saw these in the employee's hands & the pair i saw they were beauties & the nubuck material looked of very decent quality i didn't get to look at the craftsmanship up close tho they look closer to the OG's then the last retro.
could somebody familiar with how things work at FNL please help me out?

Got a guaranteed ticket at champs, will help out if I win any of my 3 other raffles, size 9. Launch locators look like you shouldn't need it tho

Nike is moving all its Jordan Brand Retro releases to the raffle system because we all know games are played on in store raffles regardless of if its a GR or not.

They have cancelled all NDC and SNKRs Jordan brand releases until they have a solution that they feel keeps bots at bay. It has nothing to do with how limited shoes are. People shouldn't let NDC not releasing put them in a frenzy, some people paid $350 for 11lab4 preorders when they were very easy to purchase online for retail.

I'm clear on Nike's rationale for pulling offline releases of certain kicks...I think we would both agree the C&C 7s had a lower production run than probably these yet NTNY didn't do the online raffle and instead opted to do an instore traditional raffle -- there was still pairs left days afterwords. If they NTNY is capitulating to the online raffle system for these I am just wondering does this signal their recognition the demand for these may outstrip the supply.

And FYI you do realize this system doesn't actually ensure there aren't raffle antics it just takes away a 'face' for the antics....and mos def doesn't enhance 'customer retail experience'. I am just a realist and recognize with NYNT doing online raffle I have to up my resell threshold for these if I want them.

This release is kind of iffy to me, when the Hares released I thought my cousin was going to use the plug to get them for me.  I used the SNKRS app and made it to the enter you card information part so I don't know how it will work without the app with me trying FTL, CS, and FTA.

Don't see these being too difficult to cop. A ton of pairs going around and the quality on the 2015 version look horrible from the pictures I'm seeing. 2011 pair definitely better quality

Your coming to conclusions based on wrong info.
When the 7 champ pack released, NikeChi was the first and only store to use the online raffle.
When shattered backboard 1s released, a few additional stores were added.
Even more stores were added when 11lab4s released last week, and now it seems that all of the major Nike stores have moved to this online raffle for this release. It has nothing to do with how limited a release is and more to do with this being the plan moving forward.

This online raffle actually stops in store shenanigans completely, they can't pick who wins anymore. They also can't pick arbitrary times to release leftover pairs that was advantageous to friends and resellers because pairs not picked up have to go back to Nike and can't be sold.

It doesn't do anything to stop people reserving shoes they can't pick up but when I was in store someone I spoke with mentioned that Nike could blacklist some people after reserving a number of shoes without picking up.

the only thing i dont like about the new raffle method from nike is that theyr not like shiekh, they dont have locations at pretty much every mall. the closest Nikestore to some people is an hour or hours away. maybe they should do online raffles and if u get chosen they send u a special code u could use to checkout online when release day comes

So FNL employee tells me there's no more tickets and the raffle tickets have been all given out???
Basically there's 18 pairs and we gave out 2 tickets per shoe so that people would have a 50/50 chance

I looked at him and said well I have no chance now!? Wtf

He just stared at me.....

Yeah. It's a stupid corporate policy. My Finishline changed it because they thought it was idiotic how 36 tickets could be given out with ten people trying to get one size and other sizes going unclaimed.

Nike stores will probably never be at every mall so the online raffle is really only for people that are within a reasonable distance from the store. I'm about 45 min from my closest Nike store and I wouldn't even attempt to reserve these because there are at least 25 stores between my home and store that'll have them.

I wish Nike would implement an apple like preorder system, at least for GRs. Let everyone that wants GRs have them. Open preorders 3-5 months before release and still make some available for those that would like to purchase on release day. We'll probably never see it though, it would kill retailers.

Yeah I know how the system works....I entered the Nketown Chi online raffle. My point is I cop at NTNY regularly on RD and a 7 that had lower allocation then this 'GR' was the test kick for the new raffle and either corporate decided not to go with its flagship store in the U.S. (NYC) or the flagship store opted out.

The SBB drop at NTNY was 'problematic' to say the least AND still it didn't opt in or corp didn't make it roll out the new raffle until now. However this 'GR' corp decides it warrants the raffle treatment....which doesn't make sense if there is truly a large quantity of bordeaux.

I have 5 nike+ accts and there is nothing in the raffle system that would prevent me from entering likewise and because it's an instore pickup there's no way to get Megged by the cyclical shipping address. There's nothing in the system that can truly 'ding' you and get you blackballed. again I know NTNY and there's enough foot traffic that I could reasonably pick up multiples from raffle wins.

For all you people that like having every single piece of clothing match.

in a perfect world nike would just post the codes online and whoever wins the raffle would get a special code to enter on the nike website come release day that will automatically send them to a cart with their shoe size and ready for checkout. [emoji]128533[/emoji]
