Just look at the toe boxes. All of the pairs they had, were like this. Right where the tongue meets the toe box, there is a big speed bump.
I guess it wont matter when you wear them, but to come fresh out the box like this. The Hares had better quality to me.

Assuming you're somewhere in northwestern NY, how about try the several dozens of other retailers along the way before coming down to NYC? Might even have a better chance across the border in canada.
It's not so much I'm complaining. I love the bordeaux 7's. I purchased 2 pair back in 2011. And I purchased 3 pair for this year. I'm just making and sharing my observation of the current quality. Do I regret buying them? Not one bit. But I know some people will not be able to review their pair before purchase, like I was able to.
Hoping to cop these w my fiancé as a couples kick we'll see!!

it's funny because the OG toebox was just as wide. In fact people complained about the narrow toebox on sevens compared to the OG for a while but...
why would even consider driving 7+7 hours to pick up a very GR release? these are not limited at all. u dont have any champs, footlockers, jimmy jazz, FNL, etc near you? you acting like if you dont hit on that 7 hour drive raffle that you wont be able to get a pair. forget that raffle. you should be able to get a pair from 1 of those chains near you.
