We're paying way too much for shoes that are over 20 years old. The shoes keep selling out so of course they're going to raise prices.





Year to year there is going to be some new gimick Nike markets that will keep people shelling out the money.





This year it is "remastered". Next they're going to start putting the Nike Air back on the shoe instead of the jumpman and market it as a new producy. They're such subtle differences that don't really matter yet people will still buy all of this stuff even if they already own a pair that doesn't have the Nike Air on it.





I'll still be a couple that I want, but I'm not obsessive or worhsip this shoes to lose sleep over it. Certain shoes remind me of my child hood and I even played in some of the shoes. 





The OG shoes weren't perfect back in the early 90s either. They had glue marks, scuffs hear and there, and the whole nine yards.

The materials are pretty good, it's just the quality control and construction that's bad. I owned a pair of DS '92 bordeauxs and the 2015s are close to the ogs as far as the materials

I'm happy to see them using durabuck again instead of the cheap nubuck they've been using
 
Shoes still say out for delivery but I see nothing at my doorstep & it's already 9:30 PM in Dallas.
Got to be up at 5 AM, can't stay up too late waiting.
 
the material was never the big issue with me it was the defective craftsmanship.at a 150 price i could just forget & at the end of the day just be happy i got the shoe but at $209.00 after tax it's hard to just shake it off & be happy.as a consumer it's almost impossible for me to not buy a aj retro that has childhood nostalgia to me!

Sounds like the UPS driver took your shoes home. I've learned my lesson. All my packages either get shipped to my USPS PO BOX or if it's with Fed Ex or UPS I have it held at one of their locations for pick up. Hope nothing happened to your shoes though

nah, he said it still says out for delivery, so hes still good IMO. now, if it says delivered and theyre not at his door, THEN there might be a problem lol. worse case scenario i think is the driver had too many packages today and he may not be able to deliver the rest today?

theyll probably just rearrange drop off time. If it said delivered and you really didn't receive em then that's when I'd say it's a problem lol
