BORDEAUX 7S JULY 18th 2015

I don't understand why some of yall are so mad? Jordan 7s have never been known for high quality materials or being durable. It's actually one of the weakest Retros in the 1-14 series craftsmanship and material wise.

The toe box is OG and not thin and flat like the 2011s or Hares, maybe that toe bump will help with creasing? maybe that toe bump isn't their when walking? I understand we all paid over $200shipped and want that Quality. But then again Jordan 7s are no where near the construction of Foamposites.

All Jordan 7s are weak in Quality thats how the shoe has always been. These 2015s are really Light way lighter then the 2002s and the material is smoother than the Raptors. Also they fixed the Tab on back to be higher so they dont rip off and stand straight up like the 92s.

I'm happy with the 2015s Truer to OG with way better Tongue Colors, Nicer Bordeaux color, and Lighter in weight. I already knew the 7s weren't the best crafted Jordan Retros So I knew what I was getting.

Talking about lawsuits and complaints? All I will say is I'm down to sign a Petition that all Jordan Retros are Made in Italy like the 2s, I will pay $300 lol :smokin:smokin

Ur statement is true but go look at them cigar 7's like big J said they are premium and premium shoes get better QC cause they are produced in less number.

But then cigar 7's are a fine built 7. I mean if they got 80% close to the cigars there would half as many complaints

Tho I think some complain and never seen a og or heck some young kids never seen 2011 in their lives either.

Yeah the Cigars are Premium $250 Limited amount made though bro. These Bordeaux's were a GR thats why bro. I mean I would love higher quality everything don't get me wrong but i know Premium/Exclusive/Limited are always better in materials. Their would have been a Backlash if these Bordeauxs werent a GR.

I agree these younger guys that never had jays in 2000-2006 don't really know what their talking about. Let alone if you actually seen a 1992 shoe in real life.

GR pairs have had good quality. Look at the oreo 4s

I am talking OG to OG model. 1991 vs 2015 inflation. These were $125 back in 1991.

I buy about 3 models of JB per year, because I know the quality sucks and it is, what it is.

I speak with my dollar, if I can't deal with it, pass on the shoes and keep it moving. I'm tired of hearing y'all complain about normal mass produced variances, expecting some hand made piece of art. These are made by machines and 12 year olds.

GR pairs have had good quality. Look at the cement 4s
The 7s are weaker made than the 4s and no where near as bulkier/heavier, but then again 4s have midsole heel paint creases&chips easily and the white midoles if you wash them come off so easy, I have them fresh. 7s have always been weak quality wise. which is why they improved the 8s which is known as pretty much a 7 with straps etc, they made them Bulkier, Heavier, and thicker midoles/soles.

If you never had 7s now you know they have always not been the Greatest Quality and Material I've had 6 pairs now...

A lot of over thinking for a shoe that's going to be worn casually, I would half understand if any of you were professional athletes and performance is an issue. Good luck proving remastered meant making a shoe to your standards.

People complained back in 2011 about these and now they are treated like they are the greatest thing. It's funny how things changed....Has anyone that complained, tried the shoe on b/c the "bump" isn't there when your foot is in the shoe. Just saying.

I've had more than 6 pairs of 7s. No need to keep making excuses. If this release was crap, it was crap quality wise. Call it what it is.

It's honestly nothing new. We get some good releases. We get some bad releases.

It's ridiculous. In 2011, everyone was crying and pissed about the shape, the fit, the midsole, the materials, glue stains and all. Raising hell that these don't resemble the OG's at all. 2015 drops and everyone is up in arms. These are pretty dead on to the OG's except for the thickness of the ankle collars.

Yup , i remember back in 2006   people complained about  leather on the cardinals , these were good  , better than the  2004 hard leather Olympics

Now putting the 2011 like it's the best thing on earth ... this decade is full crap   , in twenty years nobody will remember or praise them .

I'm curious. Did anyone receive a pair with a not so jacked up toebox, or is that all pairs?
My pair was perfect, no flaws or anything. Idk but I think the boutique I go too quality controls everything they sell. I have yet to get one jacked up pair of anything from them

Finally came home to my pair last night. They've been delivered since about Tuesday but I just finished my summer semester so I'm just now seeing em. I got a fye pair of tongues and I'm happy to have em. They comfortable as all get out too. Lol, only thing I'm not happy about is the toe bump. Never had OG'S or 2011's so it doesn't really matter to me. These my first 7's too. Lol I know i'm late on everything too.

I'm not making excuses lol. My pair wasn't crap by no means straight Flush, No glue stains No creases flawless.

If you've had more than 6 pairs of 7s than you should know they haven't had the best Quality or Materials period.

2011s look nothing to OGs and everyone was complaining. Its the Shoe Culture. Every Release people either received a bad pair or didnt get them or never had the model before so their bitter. Just how it goes. NT were all sneaker geeks no one is going to see you rockin these in a couple months or years and be like yo those are **** material! Their gonna break Necks.  These will grow on the people that are bitter.

As stated the TOE BUMP isn't their when your wearing them, Like i said i think this is the Huarache like boote causing that appearance which is thicker and better than the 2011s and help with creasing, makes sense.

Bump is still there when I have them on. Depends on how bad it is...

2006 cardinals,2006 military blue 4s :x,2005 steel 10s with the squeaking problem and the WOAT leather on the 2005 mars 4s :x I just don't complain anymore I know what to expect with JB

I have been into sneakers since the early 90s. Some of y'all are new(er) to this, but I just want to say that the OG pairs BACK IN THE DAY had quality issues too.

The difference is, that people did not "collect" shoes back then, and didn't care. We wore these out the store, used the box for our baseball cards, and in 6 months the pair was trashed from hooping and the playground!

I know $190 sucks, but its in line with inflation TBH.  I buy Jordans for the memories, not the quality.

1000000% THIS!!!...REP!

People who see bump when wearing are  probably too short / thin  or have good vision .... since i'm big /  tall  / and need glasses  i see nothing but my belly  ah ah
Out of reps but this deserves one

2006 cardinals were nothing like the crappy IV  of that era , leather was soft  , sockliner super  thick  , colors were good  , and more important they were comfortable .

Yall really talking bout suing nike for quality issues??

More or less false advertisement than anything. That whole article about the remastered 2015 is in print and false advertisement.
Probably wouldn't be anything to sue about if nike didn't publish that article of lies.
It is false advertising however, one of my first posts in the remastered thread was "I ain't falling for the banana in the tailpipe". I think the people most upset are those that thought Nike was REALLY gonna come out with a remastered line. I didn't expect much so I'm not as disappointed as most.

When I lived in Cali Ontario Mills in Ontario, CA Nike Factory store had the Cardinals a year later for $75 on clearance and I was trippin out. They also had a couple more 7 colorways.....

Whether 7s have been "good quality" is up for debate. But whether 7s have ever been better quality than these bordeauxs is not. Especially in 2006-2007. I wish I had thought to take pics while I had them but the closest shoe that can be compared as far materials go from that timers the citrus 7s, I got these back in 07 and I still have them now. These were better in every way shape and form aside from the color way in terms of quality and construction. The shape was good, the uppers were butter and they've held up well overtime. Mine have had a really bad die job in the past but the bordeauxs have made me want to bring these back to life or find another pair. 1000000% better than what was just released and I'd wager to say better than the 2011s as well.
