BORDEAUX 7S JULY 18th 2015

Bordeaux 7s are my fav colorway of all time. The aj6 is my fav shoe of all time. I had both the og's. I would love to see some kind of custom or even a photoshop of a bordeaux 6 to see if it would even work.
 
The heel of the OG Metallic Vs & Infrareds VIs were Durabuck... it was just a thinner grain than the rest of the shoe.

Back in the day if you went into a store and looked at a selection of OGs, some were really noticeable and the back part did indeed look more leathery... but other pairs only had a slight difference and practically looked like the same grain all over. That's where the confusion comes in, especially nowadays where some vintage pairs (even DS) are so worn down that the heel sections just look like plain old leather, and people think they were always that way.

The og infrared heel was leather

Og black silver v was rubbery durabuck on the heel

Og bordeaux vii was also durabuck

I had the v and vii. Brother had the vi

I just hope that the next retros of each of these shoes comes out true to form. I just got the '14 Black Infrareds and they just aren't the OG are even that close at all. Thet heel was the biggest issue

Seems to me each time they do a re re re release they are made worse then the previous version. I have a lot of the 2006/2007 Vs and almost all of them have come back out with worse materials andjust felt cheaper. Same with almost all my retros. They get worse and more expensive the next time they come out.

I just don't see the new ones being as bad as the ones from 2011. I'm someone who is more familiar with 7s from 02-08 and the 2011 and 2012 are just horrible to even look at.

I just don't see the new ones being as bad as the ones from 2011. I'm someone who is more familiar with 7s from 02-08 and the 2011 and 2012 are just horrible to even look at.

I have no idea what your talking about, the 2011 Bordeaux are on point and that's a fact.
 
Wore mine today they're like in a 8 outta ten condition.. I was on the Jordan wave since 09 really but I walked in packer shoes got my bordeauxs a week or two early rocked em all on campus breakin necks.. Ahh the times.. They really are special to me so now I'm debating should I cop the newest release and what should I do with my 2011 pair if I do. Feedback is welcome.
