ThisI like the title.
It could have been the best title ever created, and people would still complain.
The force awakens? That means the force has been asleep how can it be asleepI like the title.

No chewbacca no care
They didn't say what side of the force was asleep
They didn't say what side of the force was asleep
That adds to the the intrigue for me
They officially cut out the VII from the title?
I don't think so, I'm sure that they want people to refer to this movie as "The Force Awakens" instead of Ep. VII, in the same way people say "A New Hope" or "Empire Strikes Back" instead of episode IV, and V.
I'm done.

Its not a big thing for me but I'm just a little bit attached to the numbering for nostalgic reasons. That's probably what they were going for but I've personally almost always referred to the specific films by their number and will probably continue to .
That's fair, not a lot of people do that though, especially for the original trilogy. I talk to people who refer to ANH simply as "Star Wars".
People are really having a hard time coming up with a non-literal interpretation of the title .
