I like the title.

It could have been the best title ever created, and people would still complain.

,it's simple and straight to the point

No chewbacca no care
Could you imagine just hopping in that suit and just screaming your heart out for a couple hours for that role. Just letting them go however you want them to. :pimp:

The force awakens? That means the force has been asleep  how can it be asleep

They didn't say what side of the force was asleep

It could also mean awakening in the sense that it's asleep if it's not being manipulated by force sensitives. It's obviously not meant to be taken literally. Come on bruh..
No chewbacca no care

Chewbacca is in it.

The title is bad but after we see the movie it'll make sense(AOTC) but no EPVII in the title :smh:

Maybe its a new chapter, or theyll just add the VII on the official press launch

They officially cut out the VII from the title?

I don't think so, I'm sure that they want people to refer to this movie as "The Force Awakens" instead of Ep. VII, in the same way people say "A New Hope" or "Empire Strikes Back" instead of episode IV, and V.

Its not a big thing for me but I'm just a little bit attached to the numbering for nostalgic reasons. That's probably what they were going for but I've almost always referred to the specific films by their number and will probably continue to .

That's fair, not a lot of people do that though, especially for the original trilogy. I talk to people who refer to ANH simply as "Star Wars".

People are really having a hard time coming up with a non-literal interpretation of the title .

Yeah I know a few people who do the same, its all the same thing at the end of the day.

There's never any in between here when it comes to movies .

Not big on Star Wars Universe but I enjoy the films and looking forward to what Disney pulls off.
