Famb...

Found out there's an $87 Roundtrip flight from DFW to chicago...

But the last flight is in February, which means I would have to go by then.

Is Chicago worth it in the Winter time? I was going to stay at my old teammate's house, so no hotel...

and i wanted to visit a couple of MBA programs out that way.

Is that worth it? or Chicago just sucks during the winter?

What's there to do in Chicago during the winter time?

:nerd: :nerd:

What airline :nerd:
Wonder if I can get the same price flying from SFO OAK or San Jose airport

hell yea its worth it, especially for that price...Michigan Avenue between Thanksgiving and Christmas is awesome, just bundle the **** up...

hit up Booth and Kellogg...flourish off the business yambs that wander through there...

it does suck trying to catch a train at night tho...strong wind gusts off the lake while standing on the L platforms are not the business

If you can ice skate you could go to millennium park, and hit the ice rink. There is also the Auto Show in February at McCormick Place. As mentioned above you could go see the Bulls play or even the Blackhawks if you want to see a hockey game. You could also go to the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, and Adler Planetarium.

Sounds worth it for the price.

There's only one way to experience what a program is like and that's in person so it's important that you visit. If I were going I would definitely try and go to a Bulls or Blackhawks game.

I lived outside of Chicago for a little over a year and saw two winters there. :x :smh: I would wait. All you're gonna see is high *** snowbanks, mud slush and people bundled up from head to toe.

Besides that, the chances of your flight getting canceled or delayed in the winter are higher than normal.

if you can deal with extreme coldness do it.

Downtown scenery is unmatched.

:pimp: :pimp: :pimp: at the NTers coming through in the clutch...

Keep it coming, famb...

Little more info...

The times I'm looking at is the first week in february... School will be open so I can go visit the colleges.

I'm thinking about bringing my lady, and i just called my dad and he said he's down to go to. I was going to stay w/ my boy, but since my dad says he's coming, so i might have to get a hotel. :frown: :frown:

My uncle has a business, and his American offices are headquartered out there, so I'm sure he'll meet us out there, too. I dont know if he has a home there, though... but if he does, we might all stay there.

I heard that hockey games >>>> any other sporting event just based off the environment... a bulls game would be dope, but I play so much ball, I dont really care to go watch pros in person... I'd rather get buckets on my own. haha.

Since its gonna be cold and you'll probably be driving instead of bussing/L'ing it...downtown parking rates...

  • In most areas of the city, rates are $2.00 per hour.

Please pass that info. Canceled a trip to Chi because the funds weren't right but for that price I could do it.

It's thru America airlines.

I think it's only from DFW to O'Hare, though
