Puerto Rico - Bachelor Party.. Thoughts?

Montreal's great for a weekend vacation if you're on the east coast. You gotta be a little careful though since they sell it a lot up there, but they'll be pretty up front with you I think if they're in that industry.

Lulz @ Punta Cana for a bachelor party, my dudes if DR is the destination, head into the capital, stay in one of the resorts in BocaChica, rent a car and party it up
In la avenida Venezuela which is like 25 minute drive, don't act like tourists tho, be cool and YA will have a blast!..then grab a chimi after the turn up
read above. Something i said ... I'm not going to send them to La Venezuela because i don't want to be liable. To many times i seen dudes think they bad cause they are American or Tourist. Like that's a superman badge... I rather send them to el malecon n not to al otro lao. But yeah..

haha I asked this question on her last year before my homies bachelor party. We ended up doing 2 nights in Vegas then flying from Vegas to Puerto Rico and doing 2 nights in PR. I honestly wish we stayed longer in puerto rico.

Hotel: El San Juan Resort & Casino
Club: Brava its inside el san juan resort, you and who ever is with you will get in with your room key for free.
Eats: We found this good restaurant in Old San Juan: Restaurante Airenumo Luna street, Tanca corner #102
San Juan, Puerto Rico 00901
Beaches: Flamenco Beach was an awesome beach

if you goto el san juan hit up the bell boys at the valet, they can get you what ever you need.

Don't go between june and september tho I think that's hurricane season for that area. I was told the best time to go is November (perfect weather)

I've been to vegas many times so maybe that's why Vegas didn't seem as fun as PR. But if you've never been to Vegas you should definitely go.
Good Info^^  & Thanks for the input fellas! I definitely have a bit of a clearer lens. And for those who havent been to Montreal.. as has been stated.. goto Montreal. Not a very expensive trip either

btw Flamenco is an all day event and it's not in main land PR but rather in Culebra. So you'll have too catch a ferry. It's one of the best beach in the world and if u have time def a must see but i wouldnt try to rush it or squeeze it in if u guys are there for like 3 or 4 days.

El San Juan is cool. Legendary bar and the lobby basically turns into a party on weekends.

When I go with my dogs, we play a game called "who's the hooker".

If that's something that's of interest to you.

Got married in PR so we hung out there the night before and it was cool.

But I did my bachelor party in Amsterdam :smokin

How much debauchery you dudes trying to get in to?
PR is cool but I think you can get a lot more raunchy in DR. It'll cost you a lot less too.

What's the currency in DR? PR is straight american dollars

They use pesos but if you stay in the tourist spots you could use us currency in just about any location.

Don't listen to steezy bout going to the capital.
You guys are tourists.
You could easily go to Punta Cana and have a blast.

Head to the drink spot where you can find a good mix of locals and tourists. Basically a block party that goes on every night till 6 am. Because this isn't really a tourist spot you can pop bottles for under $100. Tons of "working girls" that'll have you feeling yourself extra hard with the attention you'll get from them.

If you want to hit up the brothels you have two good choices with conejitos and sone other spot that has "blue" in the name.
I used the word brothel but these places are more like a strip club where the girls will dance on you all night for practically pennies.
Their main objective is to get you to go upstairs. You could pretty much get lap dances all night and not spend more than $20 bucks.

I haven't even gotten into all the birds you could run into at the resorts and clubs.
Imagine (the cave) is a dope club. The Hard Rock has another dope club.

DR is the way to go. The amount of money you'll save versus PR is a big deal.

FTR - I been to PR and I loved it.
But if you having a trip with the homies and you dudes are about that raunch life, DR is the way to go.

Lol well, I just rated him up because what he said seems on point from the research i've done.  Ive been to DR before with my shortie. But we only goto Puerto plata. My business partner has a resort membership there and in Punta Cana.  Just never ventured down that way.

And thanks for the input Steez!  Yeah, we're definitely not generally the lay back and chill dudes. .so far seems like Santo might be the move, if we head to DR.

I've heard great things about DR..but you need a passport to go there..and in PR u don't..

Whomever is going to the bachelor party would obv need one..and they are a pain in *** to get initially

PR sounds like a great idea..heard San Juan is amazing

Another option for you guys... Do PR a few days then take the ferry to DR for another fer days. Being that i used to go to DR twice a month ... Steezy know what he taking about Diego just seem to be another tourist which is cool but is missing out on the real DR experience.

Yeah, we all do a bit of traveling, though not generally together.  Everyone should have their passport anyway by like mid-20s at least

Lol..tell me about it..so many ppl I kno never left the country..

I just renewed mine and I was running out of visa pages..so I got the 48 page passport..it's like a textbook lol

I worked overseas before ..

My favorite place is Barcelona..but that's a little pricey for a bachelor party..lolol..go every summer

My friend always going to DR for the women ....his Ig be having me rolling...wouldn't be surprised if he knocked one up with his savage *** :smh:

Coming up on that time; Just curious.. from research seems the clubs are kinda strict on the dress code in PR.. From those that have been there, how would I do with a nice polo, slim jeans and upscale sneakers(Bally, YSL, Balenciaga) etc?   I really dont wanna pack hard bottoms or loafers unless I absolutely have to.

just came back from PR for my cousin's wedding. possibly the best time of my life. stayed in isabella in the neighborhood via airbnb. area is just to chill, surf, and hike. jobos beach is dope. shacks beach is gorgeous, good spot for underwater caves.. crashboat has a sunken ship starting a 20ft below surface from what i was told.

hit up old san juan in my last few days. airbnb condo on san juan harbor.

-cafe puerto rico will serve u BOMB *** food. and they don't skimp on the drink sizes either.

the poppin spot i hear is nuyorican cafe. it pops off towards like thursday and the weekend. i never got to hit it up, no time.

can't wait to go back again.

we hiked in el yunque rain forest. it was awesome, hiked the hardest trail "el yunque" and that will take you to the highest peak. takes like hour n 45. if it rains, don't sweat it, its quick shower. chill under a rock or something if you are getting soaked. its a US national park, so its well maintained. youll find parking at the start of the trail. you will pass teh waterfall and you are close. you will also pass a food spot, that is on the cliff. they sell crispy tacos and sweet plantain beef patties. stop there on your way back, food is crazy and u can wash it down with a refreshing pina colada.

there is also a river where people swim. you know you are close when u see yambs walking in bikinis down the road.

rain forest is 30 min drive from san juan.

in old san juan is built over the fort. so a lot of the fort is not visible, but when you explore the two major lookouts (san cristobal and san del morro) you will see how big of an area the fort occupied.

^last pic is san cristobal and you can see el morro in the distance. at the bottom is the little hood that sits on the beach.

el morro sits next to a cemetery. if you've never been to the Caribbean, fun fact: the dead are burried either above ground, or in cement tombs. and since its the carribean, grave robbers are commonplace, so youll see smashed up tombs. its all open to the public so walk around, you'll see a body or two. really cool stuff.

this cemetery sits on the clif overlooking the beach. this is NOT a beach you can chill on, its rocky and hard to access honestly (you have to go thru the little slum that sits on the shore beneath the fort). but walk thru the cemetery, to the grassy cliff overlooking the atlantic, AWESOME view.

IMG_20150224_102743.jpg

the two fort lookouts are a good walk from each other so you could technically kill a day exploring. i love Caribbean history with pirates and explorers etc, so it was pretty cool.

nightlife, i can't imagine san juan being anything but popping, but most will tell you its gets live towards the end of the week. check out the spots tho, as i wasn't there for long. you'll still find bars open thru 2am.
