Bruh you made a fun fact that is nothing but factual. Yes, there are certain cemetery like that in the Caribbean just like in the USA and other parts of the world
The reason, because they are 1. Below sea level, 2. in a flood zone, 3. A place that is not convenient because of soil to dig, etc.
Here's a better picture

In regards to the Tropical RAIN Forrest, no **** ... The name should tell you what goes down there. Rain is frequent, but they are called light showers. Of course you have those days that is raining all day. If you do a forecast of el Yunque you are more than likely see rain all week. Sights to see is Las Minas Falls (hike there, very easy I believe and take a swimsuit), La Coca falls is right off the road, Yokahu observation tower (first tower, go to top and enjoy the view). IMHO everything else it might be a waste of time unless you are a sight seeing, hiker type of person. There's a little man made reservoir you can view.
There are plenty of other places you can go that are not called San Juan or Old San Juan ... Plenty of beaches to include Flamingo Beach in Culebra (plain or ferry (very early and is a risk)) that isb constantly rated top 10 beach in the world.
There's illuminati bay, the caves of Camuy River (I like it)).
Beaches all over the island, great sunsets in the west of the island.
Etc etc etc ...
