Puerto Rico - Bachelor Party.. Thoughts?

Bruh you made a fun fact that is nothing but factual. Yes, there are certain cemetery like that in the Caribbean just like in the USA and other parts of the world
The reason, because they are 1. Below sea level, 2. in a flood zone, 3. A place that is not convenient because of soil to dig, etc.

Here's a better picture

In regards to the Tropical RAIN Forrest, no **** ... The name should tell you what goes down there. Rain is frequent, but they are called light showers. Of course you have those days that is raining all day. If you do a forecast of el Yunque you are more than likely see rain all week. Sights to see is Las Minas Falls (hike there, very easy I believe and take a swimsuit), La Coca falls is right off the road, Yokahu observation tower (first tower, go to top and enjoy the view). IMHO everything else it might be a waste of time unless you are a sight seeing, hiker type of person. There's a little man made reservoir you can view.

There are plenty of other places you can go that are not called San Juan or Old San Juan ... Plenty of beaches to include Flamingo Beach in Culebra (plain or ferry (very early and is a risk)) that isb constantly rated top 10 beach in the world.

There's illuminati bay, the caves of Camuy River (I like it)).

Beaches all over the island, great sunsets in the west of the island.

Etc etc etc ...

when i hiked down from the peak it was sunny tho. relax b. u sound slightly butt hurt  and all i said was that the rain isn't continuous. it can break for a while, or like i said, get sunny. if he knew that then fine, was just trying to be helpful

i didn't say why the dead are buried as such....MY BAD. but yea cosign everything you said. and thanks for the cemetery pic. pic i posted includes el morro.

I forgot to mention that if you go out to the caves, you need to make a detour to La Cueva Ventana. I tell you right now its a must see no if and buts if you are out that way. Here's a picture but it does not make it justice.

There are also river tours, some secret that will give you access to underground caves not normally frequent by tourist and other waterfalls like Gozalandia that are mostly locals.

Enjoy PR

I went to a bachelor party in Montreal. 0 regrets 100% satisfaction.
Headed there mid April for a close homies bachelor party

Just came back from a Thurs - Mon trip to PR.. so so so dope.. seriously one of the funniest i've been on in some time. We rented a huge 8 bedroom spot out in Ocean Park. Each bedroom had its own shower and a second smaller room(concubine room??) within the main room.. kinda hard to explain. But the spot literally made the whole trip.. had a huge grill, nice sized pool, outdoor, covered washer and dryer, two private suites with outdoor entrances, one of the dopest entryway doors ive ever seen.. Just a fantastic residence.

As far as what we got into:

Thurs - Landed, rented a few whips as backup transportation to get us around during the day.

Grabbed a bite at spot called hotties in Isla Verde(zero hotties worked there though)

Headed to a local grocers to stock up on 1800, blue label jack, brews, late night eats and some stuff for the grill

Thurs night - Headed to a spot called La Placita, which is basically an open-air party with restaurants and bar etc. You can open carry, theres food and a ton of people.  Thursday was kinda chill at first, but got live later on.

Fri - We hit the beach in Ocean Park, which was kinda dead tbh; Then later on ate at Orozco's Restaurant, which was pretty good and had lots of local flavor. Friday night we hit La Placita again, in which the entire block was a party hosted by Jack Daniels co. The place exploded and was packed to the seams.. and drinks were like 3-4 bucks at every spot on the block

late night- couple cats hit a TnA spot called the girls. Heard good things in the morning from my dudes

Sat - We hit the beach strip in Condado, which was pretty live, then came back and grilled out w/some locals and some tourist chicks we met in the neighborhood. Sat hit Club Brava which was ridiculous.. got a table and a couple bottles for dirt cheap.  Ended up meeting some chicks from espn(jemelle hill and cari champion). They partied w/us for awhile. Afterwards crushed the best pizza ive ever had at a Pizza spot inside El San Juan Hotel(cant recall)

late night- couple cats hit a TnA spot called Frenchies.. which from all accounts.. was about that life

Sun - We ran around Old San Juan all day. Saw the Fort, my boy copped some green from La Perla and some random chicks gave us a tour of sites around OSJ. For grub, we ate at Lupes first, then Genesis later.. both were pretty good. Lupes in particular has these codfish fingers that are amazing.  There were also pretty damn good Kabob trucks all around the dock areas of OSJ. Later on we hit a bar called Greengo's which is a tequila bar, then nuyorican cafe and later club lazer(this name may be incorrect), its right down the block from nuyorican

Of note: The cabbies in the tourist areas know the rundown of whats poppin, where to go, what to do, even a few slick phrases to spit to chicks in PR. Unfortunately for me, I have a chick, so I couldnt partake in the extracurriculars, but had fun nonetheless.

Also, as a group of black tall black dudes.. we were at a restaurant the next day after partying in La Placita, in Isla Verde, when we were approached by a random cat and his chick who saw us partying the night before and wanted to kick it w/us(they were already at the restaurant when we arrived)  We vetted him a bit, then exchanged information.. homie ended up being a pretty good connect;  Just thought it was odd and random occurrence.

One thing of note, is that the majority was largely female at almost every place we went. Also, the locals are super cool, everyone was real chill, welcoming etc. As I think of more happenings, ill update this post.

Not sure if it matters but im asking.

Group of 5-8 black guys would you recommend PR or DR? Not trying to make this a race thread but i know my people and for some reason things have a tendency to get a little rowdy.

I honestly would rather travel into the island by myself than with a huge group i fel like it draws a lot of unwanted attention.

With that being said if i wanted to have a good time without paying miami prices what would you guys recommend.
