Going Back To Cali vol. NY Hold This L

Diego savage as hell for even stepping into a C grade place. I pass if they have a B on the window

You can leave your jacket at home and possibly might want to bring sunscreen. Last Winter was the warmest on record and it doesn't get cold here to begin with. Yelp is your friend and don't get distracted by any chain spots when eating.

If you blaze you're in luck. Shrubbery is plentiful and powerful in LA. If you're not super scary there's a hood burger spot on crenshaw and Jefferson that is the absolute dankest. It just has a white and yellow sign that says 'burgers' and it's absolutely fire.

OP, you have to try this local mom and pop Italian restaurant, Romano's Macaroni and Grill.

It's located in El Segundo which is about 10 minutes away from LAX.

That would be my first stop though.

Go to an In-N-Out and report back. Cali people hype that place to no end. My brothers going to Cali this weekend and I told him he has to bring me back some so I can see what the hype is about.
In N Out is :pimp: you have to have it in the moment, or it won't taste good

Are u saying they sell flowers out of a burger spot or that they have really good burgers?

In N Out is so overrated.
Menu has like two things on it (Idgaf about the stupid secret menu).

Once I had my burger...yeah it was cool but way too hyped for no reason.
I've had burgers from diners with C inspection grades that serve better burgers than In N Out.

This.

still miss Cali though :wow:

cold in n out aint worth your time.

Just listen to the east coast bias and come in thinking IN N OUT is overrated. You'll have a better experience. I think the ones that don't like it got hyped up thinking it was the greatest and their expectations were too high. Just make sure you order it with grilled onions.

I went to LA a few years ago for my birthday in 2011. I had a really nice time. We stayed at the Wilshire Hotel and went to most of the spots around town.

The NBA wasn't on during that time and it was kind of chilly. Never got to go to Griffith Park Observatory though :frown:

I def recommend the OP to drive up the Pacific Coast Highway, especially during sunset.

In-N-Out burger was def good and we had it a few times during our stay. Disneyland is a pretty cool place and the people are very relaxed out there.

Overall best spot to me was prob Manhattan beach, loved that place, great scene

Santa Monica was great too but too commercial (shopping is a big draw)

Venice was weird, wouldn't hang out there too long but worth a quick visit.

Really didn't hang out in the city except Beverly hills, found a street with long rows of bars and restaurants, forget the name but had great Mexican food there and bar hopped for a while (more of a yuppie type crowd, still fun to me).

also might be worth checking out Santa Barbara, very fun nightlife up there, tons of bars, great crowd.

Also SF >>> LA
