Do you rock your Jordans AS SOON as you get them?

Unless im really feeling it, like the Concord Lows got pulled out right away and worn all summer, I stash my pairs away for the most part. 

I tend to rock shoes from 2-3 years ago. Rocking Bred 4s, Fire Red 4s, Bred 11s, 13s this winter
 
I actually like to wait at least a year or 2 but I occasionally make exceptions... I use to cop a lot of doubles tho so I always wore my first pair then waited 3 years to wear the backup now I wait like 2 years and rock whatever
 
I used to do the next day thing, but I have gotten away from it. But really most of the time all of us wear dope shoes to get the shoes so it isn't really any rush. I do have two pair of shoes I haven't worn yet, my wife got me some AF1s back in 06 and I have the white and red 13s that came out in 2010/11 that I honestly forget that I have.
 
It takes me months, if not a year to pull out my Jordans. I still have my Clover I's DS and I've had them for a year in June.
 
I was in the barbershop a few months ago and they were discussing Jordans and I wanted to chime in but didn't because I didn't know them and people get butt hurt so easily these days. But dude was saying something about he doesn't wear Jordans because these next week they're outdated because another pair came out and this and that. That type of thinking is "hypebeastish" to me and sounds like one let's other people dictate what's hot to them. Real heads wear their sneakers when they want whether it be the same or keep them on ice and wear them later. I also think people who think like that are the ones who can't put together a dope outfit because it shouldn't matter if your sneakers aren't the latest release if your outfit is on point.
 
every time someone on here says "outfit" I laugh my *** off. I don't really even know why. It just cracks me up.
 
I use to have the mentality not to wear them till a special occasion even then i was hesitant, didn't want to mess them up. I don't have a huge collection as most of you do, but i wear dress shoes mon-fri and beaters around the house on the weekends. At the end of the day they are just shoes so when I do wear them I just clean them up after and put them back in the box. Usually awhile till i wear them again.
 
I usually wear my NB releases right away because the are comfy and go with everything. My Jordan's....it depends. If I really like them I will double up and rock them when I feel. I have so many DS right now it doesn't make sense but I really prefer NB for kicking around. Problem is I covet 1, 11, and 6. Problem 2 is here, in MN, it snows so that I just don't want to wear good kicks in the snow and salt. I have to wait for decent weather or clean sidewalks.

I buy shoes to wear. That. Is the only reason I buy them really (and trade on occasion). I look at my 11 and 1 Breds and just enjoy them either looking or wearing.
 
the black infrared 6s will be immediately worn ASAP....but the columbia 11 will sit until summer...it just depends for me....bred and royal 1s were immediately worn.

but like infrared 23 6's i haven't worn...might wear on Xmas or something like that.

hmmm idk that pink infrared tho,,, is ehhhhh! and blue tint Kills the shoe..

so many people rocking carmines u can tell who got new pair vs og pairs, so i wore my og carmines around while everyone wearing new gr releases.

just imo, i think these new releases people go crazy for.

by OG do you mean cdp? I doubt many people are rocking og carmines these days. they might still be wearable and if u have them then cool but it just seems unlikely to me!
 
I will wear them maybe a week or 2 after release. I don't have much time to wear them during the the 9-5 week so I end up wearing them to workout in each day.
 
I personally like keeping my shoes in the closet for a while. I wear them about 6+ months after releasing. Sometimes a little too much. For example, some Motorsport 6s have only seen 1 wear. On the other hand, myBlack toe 1s have seen about 12-15 wears. Sometimes i keep them as DS as possible for the sake of trading, selling.

Yea I was talking abou cdp, the Og though I doubt anybody would wear unless it was soleswap, and upper in good condition
 
sometimes i wait a year. seeing someone with the same shoes is inevitable, but if a year has passed odds are mine are gonna look better lol

this kinda how i do it. especially a hyped general release that 30 ppl gon have on at the mall the next day. 
 
I only can wear my kicks Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday (work boots M-F) so I don't think I'll cycle quickly enough to wear my kicks as soon as I get them unless I'm really anxious (doesn't reaelly happen anymore) for a certain pair. So on the weekends I tend to go through boxes and try to unDS the oldest DS sneaker I have unless I have something else that I want to wear that is already unDS'd or I have a nice shirt that I want to wear and I have to wear a certain color shoe with what I'm wearing. Of course the weather plays a role in what shoes I choose to wear and sometimes the season. Can't forget whatever plans I may have for the day, I most likely won't wear some heat to a bar as oppose to going out to eat, to the mall, store, etc...
 
Have the grapes v that was released 2 years ago still in the closet and have a couple of other kicks chilling haven't even taking them out of the box , bad habit of mine but I usually try to wait till the hype cool down .
 
Usually I'll wait like a month or 2. But for the most part I'll wear them when I feel like. I could care less what somebody else has on
 
I wear what i want when i want  ,  trying to be anticonformist  ( for example  not wearing your newly released pair because you don't want to look like your neighbours ) will have the same effect  , you will all look the same  at the end of the day !!!
