How did you get through school?

Pretty much. What kills people the most in school is just being lazy. It has nothing to do with being not smart. Matter a fact, one thing school does is just prepare you to have a good work ethic for jobs. Bottom line, just finish what you started. Even if it is half effort, that is better then none.

Energy drinks, ambition, accepting failure, looking past the yambs on campus, will power, time management, setting goals, fun in moderation, Niketalk, and organization.

studying and doing homework is not necessary, go to class, pay attention and bang out 100s on tests.

As long as you go to class and do all your work... You'll do fine.

School doesn't have to be that hard if you actually halfway apply yourself.

Just do you ****.

Can't tell you how many friends flunked out just because they couldn't drag their *** off a couch a couple times a week.

I always told myself when times got stressful "it's never not been done", and just keep doin it

Still in school but whats getting me through is a mix of fear and personal goals.

The fear that after my parents sacrificed to come to the US and become middle class in a single generation, that I will stall the progress.

The fear that I will one day wake up at 50 and realize that I have been in the same station I was in at 20 because I didn't finish school.

The goal of running a successful company.

The goal of ending up in the history books (for a good reason of course).

The goal of doing something that will help the people and show that people can make money and help people at the same time.

I'm thinking about dropping out because I got too many good ideas to work some regular desk job.

But over the past few months I realized school is 60% Work Ethic, 20% Memorization and 20% Intelligence.

Definitely. Half of a job is just remembering things and executing it when needed. There aren't that many jobs where you have to think outside the box like how you may do for school. For the most part and even desk jobs, it's just repetitive work.

It's all a matter of how much you want it to lead to a better life for yourself and others and if your current track will lead you there.

You wanna change your life you gotta change your attitude about things.

I highly suggest this book:

I suggest all his books actually. Easy reads and worth the money.

Time management, talk to/study with your classmates, go to class and do your work. Don't be afraid of taking Ls on occasion but don't make it a habit.

Graduated in accounting, I was fortunate enough that none of the classes were challenging. All I needed to do was do a cram session the night before the test and I was good. So I didn't really have to work too hard to the point where I was stressed. Graduated with a 3.8, would've been a 3.9 if I was more focused my first semester of freshman year.

Sit in the first row of every class, started doing that when my high school coach made us and would randomly walk by classes to see if players were actually doing it. Forced all of us to pay attention.

Also, reading those chapter summaries at the end of each chapter and doing the suggested problems helped a lot when studying or doing homework.
