So for you guys that do fasted cardio is there a drop off in energy while your running?

What do you guys do about those people who don't stay to the right on the trail? Personally I just look at them and lower my head and they get it that I'm not moving so they move.

I only run into low energy when I run more than five miles. But that's mainly because my cardio and endurance isn't what it used to be. Man, I ran 10 miles about a month and a half ago. When I hit 7 miles, my body shut down. But you could carry one of those gels if that's the case.

I don't run into the trail issue. Most of the people I run into will be courteous.

I don't even really know the "running etiquette" when it comes to trails & stuff to be honest, a vast majority of my runs are alone or in actual races lol & I hardly see people when I'm out. I say don't worry about all that though & just feel out your surroundings/trends of people running by you I guess[emoji]128517[/emoji]

Anywho, I'm a big don't eat before running person because 1: I want to feel lighter as I try to run faster & 2: I don't want my food coming back up because I ran too hard. If anything though I'll wat something very light & nothing like an apple/anything with fiber...bad idea...yup.

Been running for a week with Adidas Energy Boost 2 and started to get knee pains. I love how it feels but sadly, I don't think it is for me, at least not for distance running (was running 4-5 miles a day).

Going to exchange them for the new Pegasus 31/LG6 instead or finally try some Lunarracer 3s.

I might just cop some soccer training pants from adidas since the taper looks good on those.
Yeah I run in some compression pants from eastbay. They're cheap but they more than do the job. I've got their cold weather mocks as well and they're amazing. I would highly suggest getting eastbay's evapor gear to anyone.

how is the fit on those cold weather mocks? I ordered a couple along with the cold weather compression tights. Hoping I got the right size :rolleyes

My bad man, I'm just seeing this but how did it fit for you? The size chart they have listed seems pretty accurate to me as long as you know your measurements.

In regards to eating before running I usually drink half a nutribullet if its 5 miles or below. Anything over 5 I try to eat a bagel with peanut butter.

Went for a run this morning in this below freezing NYC weather and was one of the only people out. Got back to my apt and my scarf froze a bit from my sweat and moisture. That made realize just how cold it was. Don't let this cold weather stop you bruhs! Get out there and layer up and put on some motivational music! For me this new nipsey hussle is pure motivation.

all good fam, the fit was perfect on these (Large fits me and I usually wear M or L in tees). I can vouch for these mocks, definitely great value and a thrifty alternative to bigger name brands.

As for running in the cold, I need to step my game up. I wake up in the morning and look out the window and i'm like "nah". Hopefully buying some new running gear will give me an extra bit of motivation to step out

All personal preference but if I had to pic, I'd take the black & volt, I like that combo as the volt really pops up and helps with better visibility. Plus black is less prone to showing dirt than the grey.

Personally, I like the Grey/Teal/Volt cw more because I like my shoes to be bright. In your case, maybe the Black cw is a better purchase for you.

Just got in 3 miles despite the arctic blast plaguing New Jersey. No excuses, rise above.

Bruh I thought I was going to cry when the wind hit my face this morning. Couldn't even run my normal route because the park was all snowed in, but still got it in.

Respect, my man. Wind was the worst part. Wore 3 layers: Under Armour, long-sleeve, and hoodie. Music got me through.

weather has been in the 70's, even hit 80 on tuesday out here in LA.

It's been way to cold and icy to run outside. I almost died on a hill trying to run in the snow.

just got a 3 mi night run in. had to rock my new safety belt I copped . slowly but surely getting my form right, really focusing on nailing that *pose method*.

Any body run in saucony? Been looking at the guide 8 and he new hurricane's to replace my mizunos

Ran my first half marathon to start this new year. I ran the Carlsbad Half Marathon today. It's my 3rd half I've completed overall.

Crazy thing was I just got back from a 3 week vacation last Friday. Had a long *** flight and was feeling jet lagged. Didn't train like I wanted and ate pretty bad on my vacation.

Still ran the half this morning and was able to complete it in 2 hours and 31 minutes. With an average pace time of 11:35.

I know if I did my usual training and ate like I usually do I would have easily ran a sub 2 hour half today.

Weather out here in San Diego was perfect as usual. Started at 7:59 AM weather was 61 degrees. Half way through the race weather was in the mid 70's and we had dope views of one of the local beaches and nice cool breeze.

nearly died as well. still getting used to this east coast weather and learning what conditions are bearable and safe. the cold and wind really don't bother me, it's just the traction and road conditions I get worried about

This morning was turrible. Started my run and turned back to head home after literally 2 min. It was way too damn icy.
