Best sole sauce?

Ok I'm back on the Salon Care 40 bandwagon. The results from Fabes' pictures made me believe that the best sauces would completely unyellow the soles, but I've come to realize I would need to invest a lot of time for any sauce to get extreme results. The 40 was working perfectly for me looking back, I don't know why I kept looking for other sauces.

Last winter, I actually got 130 volume creme. Yep, 130. It was a liquid and I tried to make retr0brite with it... it didn't work well. It never unyellowed my soles in the slightest, and just coated them in a glossy finish. So, I assume there's a point where the mixture is too strong. I then tried a 50 volume creme from SuperStar, and unfotunately, that didn't work either. I'm still not really sure why it didn't work, it wasn't too strong of a substance. I reverted back to 40 volume creme from Salon Care this week after having no where else to turn, and the results started to show once again. Here's results after 2 hours in the sun today:

The soles were so so brown, I picked them up off eBay for cheap. I'm gonna work on some '99 Fire Red 5s tomorrow and post results soon. Anyway, I would definitely recommend the Salon Care, it works wonders.

i just sent my stealth 5s with a guy i've done kicks deals with who made his own sauce. he said he's about to make me a lifetime customer. he's super confident and not charging me for this first kick so im gonna keep yall updated and if they comeback clear then i'll post product name and how to get it. wish me luck!
How'd they turn out? I love Stealth 5s btw, first shoe I've ever restored.

There's a reason i said "wish me luck".
His stuff ate my leather and separated my soles. I just wanted the netting done! On top of that, everything came back unchanged and worse! Im so mad, and then this n1gg@ has the nerve to hit me up about the rest of the money! I gave him 20 of 40 dollars. I got to restore my own kicks now! he "forgot" to give me my inner soles so idk if I'm going to pay him but I'm really pissed about the whole situation. He had my §h!t for bout 3 months! I just put them to the side refuse to look at them.

Anyone here ever try Egdar Kream? How was it?
I have, and really didn't think it was anything special. I had the same results with it as with the 40.

Also, RetroSnickers stopped advertising his product and I think his online shop got shut down because he wasn't shipping to anyone.

This thread is useful. I had seaglow from 05 and was lazy with it, but it works ( I used the indoor method) over time.  I don't have the luxury of using sunlight due to where my apartment is. I'm really leaning towards salon care 40 for a few of my projects. I hope it works. Eventually when I get off my lazy ***, I'll post pics of projects and results

howd it go?

I've got a pair of Air Max 2015 reflective that I am working on once icy soles.  I'm using the Angelus Sole Bright product.  It doesn't seem to be working with a crap.  I may go with the Salon 40.  Anyone have any product with the Sole Bright?

Slow but effective. I'm going to venture out and use salon care 40 and see how that goes.

Do you use it straight up or do you mix it?
use it straight up. i hear oxyclean pellets makes it stronger but i use 50, (my barbers's my dawg and i gotta side chick with a cosmetics license), and i have 0 complaints

no problem homie, just get someone with the cosmetics license. either that or explain your reasoning for using it and some employee might be nice enough to let you get it

Had no clue you needed a cosmetics license to obtain that?

Is the 50 significantly better than the 40? I think my mom has some friends who are barbers so I can ask them.

yeah, if I'm correct they consider it as an instrument used in bomb making. And yes it works a whole lot faster I'll post photos when I'm finish with the job I'm on now

Are you finished now?

For the air bubble id use a hair blow dryer and blow the bubbles till they clear up. itll take 2 mins or so. For the mesh and leather cleaning id use reshoevn8er or air legends. Also their sea glow but considering the price just stick to salon care 40

I use god of sole works moderate unyellowed my soles and added a tint of ice when I used it on my concord 11s
