You must think that everyone must have the same train of thought as you. Although it wasn't my primary argument I'm willing to bet that there are people out there that but a phone primarily for the camera and capabilitiea and the cell (call and text) come a distant second. Especially them phablet users. But it's cool man... You win. You can't beat stubbornness.

Nokia Lumia 1020 > iPhone 6 Plus > Note 4 > iPhone 6 in terms of camera. Im an android guy now even tho I had the OG iPhone, 3G & 3GS years ago its really personal preference. Until these other companies pack a better sensor than one ones found in the Lumia, iP6 or Note4 everything will be slightly worse. MP count doesn't really matter, its all about the sensor. And the reason I put the 6 Plus over the 6 is because is has Optical Image Stabilization.

Dude, first of all your argument is based off of naming calling and opinionated lies, and second of all, NOBODY buys a phone NOT to call and text. Idc how old, young, caucasian, colored, short, tall, religious, or demon filled you are. Its a CELLULAR DEVICE. It's primary ******* purpose is to contact people. NO PERSON EVER has said "Hey I'm gonna buy this s5, I hear it has a crystal clear camera that can really send my photography career through the roof!... and it calls people too"...

I think what he's saying is that no phone is really better than another at calling/texting so you can't really compare. But camera quality (among other things) can be compared.
 
bruh jayzz argument is trash. saying you upgrade a phone based on calling and texting makes no sense. you wouldn't have needed to upgrade your phone in over 10 years if thats all you cared about. lets be serious man. and phones have been lag free for like AT LEAST a year or 2 now. that means all the differences are really just incremental. screen, screen size, camera, (on htc's) speakers. there are no concrete ways to say which phones are better anymore. saying which is better is really saying which one you prefer.

She's had the same candy bar phone since forever because according to her it still makes calls and sends texts

if the two phones are pretty much alike and one has a nicer camera it would sway most people
 
camera isn't gonna be the deciding factor come on now :lol: people get swayed by the os, screen size and whether or not the interface is user friendly.

Since you are absolutely sure, let me break this to you. I bought my S5 active because of the camera and rugged feel (water proof and shock proof). Being a cell phone was second just in case of an emergency when I'm out camping or hiking. Being that i had an old flip phone and a camera (old one) i figure i could eliminate both by buying one. Furthermore, when i use to have them separate most of the time the cell phone stayed in the vehicle. With the ACTIVE it's smaller lighter and better as a camera than my old camera. So yes it was my biggest factor while buying it.

I also have a few friends that own Notes because of the screen size and ability to act as a mobile hot spot and workstation. Cell phone was secondary and only for emergency.

Ok so this is an instance where I can accept a legitimate response, thank you for explaining your point.
What I'm not going to do is sit here and listen to dudes yell till they are blue in the face that I'm wrong, and not back it up.

But this is a very small percentage anyways, it seems you enjoy photography as a past time, vs. It being something you rarely do. I'm talking the common 9-5 cubicle working American
