NFL Week 11 In Review...

There is actually zero irony.  Because I never once complained.  All I did was respond to the idiotic claim that the 2008 Cardinals was the same situation as the eventual winner of this year's NFC South title.  No complaints from me.
its idiotic to complain about the system it is what it is, like i was saying in initial post. like i said people were complaining about the cards being in.

Your reading comprehension skills are not up to the level that are needed for me to continue arguing with you. I never once complained about a terrible team from the NFc South making the playoffs. Not once. So you are picking a fight with the wrong person with that argument.

All i said was your claim that the 2008 Cardinals is the same situation is completely incorrect. If anything, you should have used the 7-9 Seahawks winning the division as your example....because it actually would apply. In THAT situation, there were better teams with better records missing the playoffs, and NTers complaining about it. Not the 2008 Cardinals. There were NOT better teams record wise, and no one was complaining about it....because there was nothing to complain about.

Texans
- Mallett had the chopperoonie with the scopediddly :smokin. Just speaking from his one start, it was refreshing to have a QB dart the ball down the field without fear, and the WRs not having to slow down to a segway speed and wait for the ball.
- The O-line protected Mallett like their lives depended on it, and it would be great if that could be sustained for the rest of the season.
- Cushing, Watt, Blue and Grimes :pimp: Cushing was turning back the clock this game, probably his best game since the 1st or second of this season.
- Andre tied with Moss :pimp:
- Clowney played :pimp:
- Clowney played the whole game :smokin
- Clowney will play next game :smokin :smokin

Seahawks
- The Seattle Seahawks played a National Football League game in which they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 24-20, managed by Alex Smith managing ability and Jamal Charles' running.

The League
- Glad to see the Pats curb stomp and toss the Colts off the hell in a cell through flaming tables. **** them
- Packers look unstoppable ever since "R-E-L-A-X". Jordy Highroller had a great game, but don't overlook Cobb, basically erasing Greg Jennings from people's memory.
- Washington  You were beat by Josh McCown
- Mike Evans :pimp: like somebody already mentioned, what a top notch WR class
- Puzzled by that Denver loss. All those passing yards, and only 7 points to show for it. Peyton should've been locked up a long time ago for the hate crimes against his own WRs.
- Eli gonna Eli & Oakland gonna Oakland

Fun stat: Julius Peppers has as many TD's as Greg Jennings in 2014.

Dude, stop catching feelings because everyone is talking trash about your s**t division that your team isnt even at the top of.

There were NOT people complaining that the Cardinals made the playoffs that year.  Why would they have been complaining?  Because another 9-7 team didnt make it that year?  Its not as if there werew 10-6 or 11-5 teams out there missing the playoffs.  IF a team from the south finishes 8-8 to win the division (and lets be honest.  8-8 looks extremely generous at this point), there will be multiple 10+ win teams that dont make the playoffs.  Entirely different scenario than what you claim happened in 2008.

But hey, hold on to your memories!

**** ya team and whatever 11-5 team that get screwed you should've won your division.....

Clap back

People just ignoring dland's point

I have been trying to explain it in the most elementary way possible, yet it is still going over people's heads.

I give up.

People just ignoring dland's point

I'm really not, I know what he's saying. All I'm saying is people were complaining about the cards bc they basically backed into the playoffs. They lost like 3/4 of their last games that year. And all of ESPN was in a up roar bc how how much trash the west was. Idk why he's bringing up the better record bc I never stated anything about teams with better records not getting in. I spoke on the AZ team bc I followed that team very closely bc of ties I had to that team so I used them as my reference. Dude is talking just to talk. My whole point was The rules are set no need to complain win your division was my point the whole time.

Think the best thing about Jonas Gray's performance is not the 4 TDs, but that NONE of his 38 carries went for negative yards.

Don't feed him

The WIR is just a disguised troll bash on the NFC East

I don't see you having a problem when a few folks are foaming at the mouth to start the thread after a Cowboys loss and it derails from post #2

I'll give the few Giants fans who are left this, they are not trying to pass it off on the WR's this time around.

Did I see it right, Randle was the target on 3 or 4 of those picks?

I fully expect Bob to beat the Cowboys the last game of the year, crush their playoff hopes and an offseason of "this was a step in the right direction".

The fact that you post the same exact thing bout Oakland weekly is hilarious

Let that hate out

regarding that 2008 cardinals talk and them sliding in the playoffs. maybe they did, but the competition in the nfc didn't help matters. the cardinals finished 9-7,     the cowboys finished 9-7, losing 3 of their final 4.      the bucs finished 9-7, losing their final 3 games, including a week 17 home game to the raiders which had they won that or any of the other final 3 games, they would've been in.  the bears that year went to houston at 9-6 and lost.  had they won, they would've got in.

a bunch of things had to go right and all those teams had to lose for the eagles to sneak in with the 6 seed that season.

a better outrage would be 11-5 new england missing the playoffs while 8-8 san diego got a home game, and proceeded to win while the colts and company worked their usual january choking magic.    and hell even in that scenario. san diego got in because denver choked a 3 game lead away with 3 games to play.

i got no issue with division winners getting in the playoffs in cases like seattle in 2010.  it may come at the expense of a team with a better record missing out on a wild card spot.   however that crappy division winner shouldn't be ensured a home playoff game.   something doesn't sit right with me seeing a 12-4 team who ties for first in their division and tied for the best record in the conference but comes in 2nd  in their division due to some strength of schedule or conference record go all the way down to the 5 seed and have to play on the road against a 8-8 team that's an opportunist and wins a crappy division.   that needs to be modified.

I really hope cards win it all this yr bc my men suck, steelers won both of their last chips because of the zebras...admit it
