NFL Week 11 In Review...

Wasn't AP like 200 yards away from the record that final game?
I just remember everyone expected him to break the record

AP finished what Percy started that year. Mid-season it was Percy getting all the MVP chatter.

Rodgers is #1, but as JP alluded to, there's a lot that can happen in 6 weeks that can vault Watt to the top.

We'll see. I hope he pulls it off.

Still cant believe Chris Johnson didnt receive a single vote in 2009.

Dickerson had 2105 in the 1984 season.
Peterson finished with 2097 in 2012.

He went into the Week 17 game knowing he needed 207 to tie, 208 break it. He got 199.

10 yards... a single set of downs shy, man.

 - I see your point, but AP is a RB and he was 8 yards shy of breaking an all-time record that has stood for awhile. The ONLY reason Vikes even made the playoffs was because he was playing out of his mind. Not much competition for MVP that year either. Houston is the 30th ranked defense, currently. If he has such a big impact, shouldn't Texans defense be ranked higher? Don't see him doing enough to award him the MVP over Tom and AR. Just a lot of obstacles to overcome to even be considered for MVP.

Great point, didn't even know they were that low, I thought they were around No. 20 for some reason.

But they've gotten most of their hard games out of the way, where as others have them coming up. We should check back in late December to see how that looks then, because I'm guessing we'll see a lot of evening out.

Favre broke Dan Marino's career touchdown record of 421 in the 2007 season at the Metrodome vs. the Vikings.

I really wanted Peterson to break the single-season rushing record that day. It was versus the Packers in the dome, just like Favre's. It would have been a delayed but satisfying historical counter shot.

Salty San fran fan mad at the NFC south [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

WTF?  You guys are so quick to call someone salty or mad.  Where have I written anything showing myself being salty?

All I did was try to explain to someone that having a team win the division at 9-7 when there wasnt a single other team that year that missed the playoffs with a better record is NOT the same thing as a team being in first place in a division at 4-6.

Thats it.  Nothing more.
Just a lot of irony that the complaint is coming from a fan of the NFC west. The way it looks is that San fran or seattle will be on the outside looking in. That's all
There is actually zero irony.  Because I never once complained.  All I did was respond to the idiotic claim that the 2008 Cardinals was the same situation as the eventual winner of this year's NFC South title.  No complaints from me.

That's actually a bad sign for Houston going forward.

The better a team has done in the turnover-differential, the more room there is to regress back to the mean. Turnovers aren't a constant variable, and if they were on Houston's side in the first half it's 50-50 they'll be on their side again.

Numbers like that typically hold throughout the year. It's year-to-year where you see the numbers regress to the mean. I don't have anything to back that though.. Just how it seems.

This ****** guy.

Cam, Kaep hhs weapons and a run game yet is still throwing like ****, less excuses.
Fair enough. San Fran definitely has the better RB situation with Hyde and Gore. They recycling receivers with Stevie and Lloyd. Kaep has never heard the word finesse because he sure as hell doesn't implement the definition with his throws. Dude pegging WR's like dodgeball.

Cam and Kaep both been sacked the most of any quarterbacks this season, 32 times. These guys been on their backs more than Ava Devine.

Yeah, it's as if Kaep doesn't know how to control his throws, like its some reflexive bad habit he can't kick. Either that or he just doesn't have time to determine where the ball should be placed.

He's my favorite player in the league. I ain't gonna turn on him now.

Kaep has 3 dudes that have made probowls and one who everyone was jockin when he didn't sign. "A guard that can play lt?!? Omg want!"

A lot of this is on roman for trying to make kaep something he isn't

Can has undrafted tackles!

Robert needs to understand he needs to worry about himself number 1 and not everybody else. It's his job to worry about his position, his footwork, his fundamentals, his reads, his progressions, his job at the quarterback position. It's my job to worry about everybody else. Yes, everybody else needs to improve, there's no question about it, but it's not his place. His place is to talk about himself and he knows that. He just elaborated a little too much.

Yikes.
