South went garbage as fast as the West became the best division. Crazy league.
We have no idea what the ending will be and whether it will tarnish or enhance what we have in front of us right now, but what Tom Brady has transformed into since the loss to Kansas City is... I don't even know what it is. Not unbelievable. That makes it sound impressive. I'm going to say "not believable" because I'm truly in awe.
I don't care what we've seen from Tom Brady in past seasons and how he has played bad for stretches and then turned it on blah blah blah.
What we saw out of him before Kansas City was not a freaking mirage. That guy was hollow. Nothing that had made him special was there. Then the light switched on. He went from one of the worst QBs -- and that's tangible, he was awful -- to one of the best and it was like he was waiting until the ultimate tip-top of criticism before finally running out of the tunnel to play, from a figurative sense.
I don't get it. It's one of the biggest mysteries I have ever seen in sports. Tom Brady's decline was a real, tangible thing. I don't know how he has done this but it's "not believable."
