HBO: "Westworld"...Cancelled After 4 Seasons

This was the movie I was talking about:

HBO airs it all the time. Cant believe I forgot Bruce Willis is in it  It's basically the same concept and premise as Westworld just modernized but through the Hollywood lens so a lot of guns, shooting type action, sex, with the evil businessman bad guy focused on profit.

Not sure if this belongs in a spoiler, but:

We know that robots can't harm humans (yet). But what's stopping humans from harming other humans?
Was wondering about that all ep.

Especially with the way the Man in Black acts.

i think this will be major plot in the show
I actually just read an article where the show's creators said that the weapons can "sense" who is firing them and who they're being fired at. (2nd paragraph)

So the Westworld "park" is that little town and HQ (where they make all the bots and supervise the park) is off in the distance, correct?
I believe so.
Good info.

So now I wonder if anything stops a human on human headshot :nerd:

^ I was just reading that and was gonna post it. OP keeping this thread up to date like a pro, my man :smokin

http://deadline.com/2016/10/westworld-series-premiere-ratings-hbo-multilatform-1201830145/

Nielsen linear ratings arent in yet, but it drew 3.3mil viewers combined (hbo, hbo go/now) tying TDs premiere combined viewership total. Vinyl (garbage) drew 1.4mil combined.

GoT still holds the crown for linear viewers i.e. no digital platform just straight hbo cable with 2.2mil.

Looks like HBO got its next cultural hit to survive the period after GoT ends in 2 yrs.

 i aint know Vinyl got that much ratings. Thought that show was gon be fire & it was horrible

But :pimp: at them ratings

Westworld get the money. :pimp:

Never was in to GOT so I'm glad this is showing potential to be the next hit.

HBO is known for this when they think they have a hit on their hands.

Did it with Vinyl.

Just imagine the Fincher projects HBO cancelled. What could have been.

What does that have to do with anything?

HBO is gonna still put major cash behind a project when a creator they want to please is on board no matter if the first ep is good or not.

That was my point.

I thought you were implying something else

Plus i hate Vinyl for wasting my time so that post automatically angered me haha

I was actually thinking "damn this show's budget must be unreal" during the premiere last night

Just watched that first episode it was to lit. I had to cut it off b4 the previewsame that would have expected been 2 much for me, it was so good I will just wait on the rest

I had no interest in watching Vinyl after the 2nd episode. They completely lost me

Yep my only question I have from watching as well. I was thinking maybe the "bullets" in the guns dont hurt humans...but what about knives and throwing hands? Choking xyz...
