I looked online and could not find anything that would answer this, but was the air Jordan 3 the first basketball shoe to feature a visible air bubble? thanks.

.The Air Max 1 (Air Max '87) was I believe. However, I don't know whether another company had done it first or not.

Yea It was, I just don't know if the air Jordan 3's were marketed as the first basketball shoe to come out that had a visible air bubble as the air max 1 was marketed as the fist running shoe to have it.
Air Max 1's, I believe, were the first running shoes with a visible air unit, not the first basketball shoe.
As for the answer to the question, I think it was the Nike Air Revolution that debuted in 1988, alongside the Jordan 3.
I almost did the samething also I was gonna say the air stabs it's all gYou guys are completely right, I glossed right over the "basketball" part
My bad.
The Revolution's name is very fitting in that case.
