do u ever keep kicks ds for a really long time? never wearing them?

so alot of people say wear your shoes but is there shoes that grow more and more rarer the longer it ds?

my oldest shoe is ds 2001 bred 1's and royal 1's back when it wasnt hyped...i got them both for 200$ a piece, brand new, with cards, with jordan keychain.

and now i have recent royals ds, pair or recent bred 's ds but i also have dmp bred 1's witch i wore couple times but now they feel out of place cause jordan logo in the back but thats just me,

now im like..i should get 94's 's ds and try to get a pair of 85's 1's and keepem fresh to. while everyone rocks there jordans mines will be fresh.

anybody got a problem like this? having shoes but never wearing due to fact what they are? besides the fact you go to a mall and u can find atleast 1 or 2 people with pair of 11's or 1's on. and they got the same shoe as you and your like (=___=) and it becomes a stare off

Quite frankly it should not matter what you think others think of what you wear. Keep it movin, don't worry about other peeps fam. Wear your shoes if you want to, dont do it cuz you are thinking what others are thinking. Be your own person, we all collect for various reasons. You don't need to justify on what you keep DS. All I can say is if you really want to wear them, wear them. my 2 cents

I try to keep em DS for no less than 1-2 years then I wear. if I decide not to wear, I sell it.

I have this problem lol. I keep 90% of my collection DS and the 10% I do wear are either kicks I bought used or steals I found at Ross, Marshalls, etc.

95% of my shoes that I actually COLLECT are DS. I wear Roshe's and Dunks for the most part. If there's a shoe that I bought for collecting purposes that I want to wear, I double/triple up and wear one of the extra pairs...
