Quentin Tarantinos Movie Thread - “THE MOVIE CRITIC” no longer his final film

Still waiting for a full Leo from django movie

That MF was disturbing

That would be a dope movie. I liked Leo's character in that.

Did you guys know he was going to do a Luke Cage film with Lawrence Fishburne playing the lead role, this was before he wrote Pulp Fiction. He was also in talks to do an Iron Man film starring Tom Cruise as Tony Stark after Luke Cage didn't come to fruition.

I definitely want to see Tarantino do at least one superhero movie.

And a sci-fi.

I hope he playing about only doing 10 movies. I hope he goes in until he leaves this erf like Scorsese.

cant wait for this

I really wish I didn't read the script to this film in its entirety.

I truly didn't expect the film to get made so I went ahead and read it - and it's fantastic. But now the feeling of hype just isn't there

i read the scripts for basterds and django before i saw them and still loved them ... he changes a lot ... for example the ending in the basterds script is completely different from the film's (and the movie's ending is much better imo) quell quell

They change a lot. I watched a video where they showed that Leo's final monologue in django was changed a lot. He actually cut his hand mid scene and continued. The part where he whips the flood on the girls face was not meant to be. Her reaction was real

A bunch of bad people trapped in a building. Kind of a Reservoir Dogs vibe to it. I'm sure it'll be awesome.

Didn't know Jennifer Jason Leigh's character was the criminal that was caught. Definitely a movie i'll be watching opening week.

I'm always looking forward to a new Tarantino movie. Is it just me or did his characters stop talking about music?

Reservoir Dogs - Madonna
Pulp Fiction - Jack Rabbit Slim's (they mention a lot of different music artists)
Jackie Brown - Delfonics
Kill Bill - (I don't recall any dialogue but the entire soundtrack was so iconic)
Death Proof - Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich
Inglorious -
Django -
H8ful 8 -

Maybe it has something to do with the time period in which the story takes place? Either way I'm ready for H8ful 8

I want Tarantino to do a Bond film SO ******* BAD!!!!

Like set in the 60's and everything, just super violent with all sorts of camp and humor mixed in with sexy sex and 60's Swinging London type vibe.

I keep seeing on the news about police officers going to protest this movie over his comments. I've never seen cops as a group so vocal about something but they won't badmouth their fellow cops who make all of them look bad.

I hope his next film is set in modern times. This is his 3rd period piece in a row. I'd like to see him develop modern characters again.
