TIPS TO NOT GO OVER DATA EVERY MONTH!?!?!

If you're on Android, there should be a setting in some of your apps to not check for updates unless the app is open (i.e. facebook, gmail, etc.)

If you're connected to WIFI, you will still use a fragment of your DATA.
Turn your data off, and go straight WIFI.

Remember to turn it on when you're away from the WIFI

I'm on that $30 plan from T-Mobile and it comes with unlimited data (first 5GB LTE :pimp:). Still haven't gone past that 5GB line.

Those background app processes are killers for data and battery life. Make sure you set them accordingly

Bruh im so in this thread

I used to have 15g of sharef data with my dad, and I ended up using 90% of the data EVERY month.
He upped it to 30 and gave me my own plan, and if he said if I do it again, I'm on my own plan :smh:

This is me this month

Yes I have wifi, which baffles me that I still get this high, because all I do is NT and snapchat/text all day.
I stopped Youtube last cycle because I learned it murders your battery and data

Gotta get that unlimited in your life.

I would be so pissed if I had to worry about data

Maybe turn syncing off when you're out of the house? Do you stream music?

I download all my music from an app for androids
And occasionally go to Rap Genius if they don't have it (maybe twice every 2 weeks

How are you guys using so much data? For 2 months, I literally tried to do everything over my data connection and was still struggling to go over the 2.5Gb limit before getting throttled.

Sprint sucks. TMobile was cool, customer service sucked though so I bounced, now I'm back with ATT.

One thing I learned is to never make yourself use less data, get what you need. I'm always near wifi so I'm sharing 3GB of data, paying less and getting what I need.

If you need that unlimited and don't mind *** customer service, go with TMobile (and bring your own phone)

I stopped having this issue when I got an android. I can pretty much turn off mobile data and use straight wifi. IPhone has the option also but it's a headache to go into the menus and change it every single time.

My phone is my entertainment center when im outside. Youtube, music downloader apps, web surfing, pandora. Its crazy when they say the average person might use 1 to 2gb of data in a month. Thats why I mess with sprint. I cant go back to being throttled

When you have LTE data goes quicker

I never used to go over my 2GB data before i got my 5S

Good looks for the heads up on the ATT 10G plan. Just got upped to 15GB :pimp:

I rarely go over anyway.

I work at ATT, what plan are you on? 10GB we just bumped it to 15 for no charge, also 15 GB plans and hire we are doubling data for the same price ( get 30 GB for price of 15 gb plan). what kind of phone do you have? are you closing out all your apps running the background?

Good looking fam :smokin

I'm always amazed at these numbers too, got the $30 T-Mobile plan @ 5GB LTE and I had to try really hard to go over.

^

**** AT&T bro. Unlimited is useless if it's throttled. These are my current speeds when I'm out. I don't even bother using data if I'm not at home anymore.

Stay off of Nike talk. Or at least in the big breast, Asian appreciation, fitness chicks, voluptuous women, chicks who you want to smash but don't know why threads. Them large files be killing your data

and stroke game.

Use opera mobile, it's meant for mobile surfing. It reduces image size/ quality. It's not the best but it helps if you're really counting mb's and gb's.

who's you internet provider? i have xfinity and almost everywhere i go theres xfinity hotspots so all i have to do is log in and it connects. you might have to be that guy asking for wifi passwords everywhere you go.
