When you're rolling solo and you're about to walk past some hood dudes?

Thread filled with a bunch of folks to talk **** all day long on nt
But they ***** made in real life :smh:
Man hood dudes ain't even paying u any mind half the damn time when u walk past

Naturally I'd be inclined to opt for A. But having moved from the a city with high crime to one thats more peaceful I've been pulling option B) with no regard for anything lol.
 
What's up big dog? Head nod. Never had a problem. They're usually too busy looking at my shoes anyway :lol:

And if they try to check me, then we throwin' hands.

If they cool about it, then i'm cool about it, and keep it movin'. I ain't no chump.
 
One thing that has caught me off guard in here is that so many ppl have said they'd head nod/say what's up (or some form of that) and that they've done it before. To me eye contact was good enough.

I've seen that back fire so many times. Like that's one of the few things I'd advise against if you in the wrong part of the neighborhood. Only thing worse is if they say what's up to you first. Then you know you getting got.

Plus when I think about it, when ppl would do it to me in the streets, in some situations the main thing I'd think is "I don't know this person.... do I? Why is he giving me the head nod?" Then I gotta turn my head back like "Who the **** was that!?" Got me looking around all paranoid like.

You right though.. It does lead to funk at times. And when it's on, it's on :smokin
 
A simple " Good day champ, hope you and the misses are doing well" woulds be most appropriate when in situations involving individuals such as these.
