I DON'T KNOW A SINGLE PERSON THAT HAS EVEN HEARD "THE NEW CLASSIC"!!!!!

Right .. because Hip Hop and Rap are only for black people
This dont have **** to do with what I said....at all.

Throughout history...music specifically...white artists have LITERALLY emulated black artists from dance, look, style, etc. and then become bigger than that said artist. Not just in Rap and Hip-Hop either.

They've had Harvard lectures on this topic. Go read a ******* book.

Ok you sound hurt, a white girl rapping = emulating black artists

Show me where I said white person rapping = copying black people. This is twice now you've accused me of saying something I NEVER said to try to support your point.

She changes her voice to sound like she's a black girl from Atlanta. That's a fact. If that's not emulating then what is?

You love putting on the cape for these people....

She changes her voice to get accepted by the american audience, if she was rapping in a australian accent/lingo i dont think she would be as popular in the states

But saying shes trying to talk like a like "a black girl from atlanta" just because shes a rapper is trying too hard

Stop blaming white people. The gatekeepers of this culture abandoned principle and integrity for money a very long time ago. Consumers accept & praise these hip hop artists shameless self indulgence. You cheer as these dummies recklessly get theirs; regardless of its effect on the culture. Large sums of money comes with large, undiscerning audiences. This is what you all cheer for. Winning. Getting that white people money. Iggy is just a symptom of a larger illness.

On point. Repped.

As for Iggy, I blame T.I.

Iggy needa' chill with that forced voice she does. Sounds terrible. She has taken music by storm though. She is arguably the hottest artist out now...

So people whose voices are different from their speaking voice while performing purposely changed it to emulate something else

Gotcha

How long after you move to America are you allowed to adapt to your surroundings?
