NBC employee claims Bill Cosby paid off women, invited young models to dressing room.

^ I do believe that he slipped them roofies. but also I believe that they were going to have sex anyway. like the nbc girl. he invited her over to take a shower. She's not dumb. she knew what was up.

is he using his influence, sure but these are grown women going to a grown mans house who answers the door naked or invites them to shower

Exactly. Like these are grown women...coming to his house and hotel room at like 3am....to what write jokes? I'm not saying Rape can't happen in an instance like that. But it's much more likely that a woman looking for a come-up would be more willing to have consensual sex w/ one of the most famous people in TV history. Especially if he's making obvious passes at them..and they still show up at his hotel/crib at odd hours.

He's using his influence. Maybe they felt like they had to sleep with him because of who he is. But using your influence or stature for sex is not rape by any means.

what would you call it?

^^^Sex, probably.

I am thinking of professional athletes and celebs

Like, the hook up with everyone . they can walk into a place and empty the V.I.P.

A lot of these women wouldn't sleep with random men (so they say). But they will sleep with celebs or rich people and justify it however they can.

what would you call it?

Not rape. I should have clarified and said consensual sex. An example is the "casting couch". You may not really WANT to have sex w/ that person. But you willingly and consensually do it b/c of the influence and stature of that person.

Bill did try to purchase nbc at one point in time, like MJ did when it comes to owning music which upset a lot of higher ups because an artist isn't suppose to own more than the plantation owners.I think this slander is coming from high up because possibly Bill is not playing their game so what better way to destroy someone like him by making such claims because we know women rights groups run a large portion on things an if they don't they can stop a speeding bullet with their teeth thanks to the media.

I think Bill did some wrong but who hasn't and to have it end like this,no no I hope it doesn't.Bill messed with the wrong people.

I'm genuinely curious why all of this is popping up now.

Is it coincidental that it's right around the time he was going to get a new show?
because he's about to die.

Same thing happened to Mike Jackson...

Gonna happen to MJ.. All that gambling, infidelity, etc will come back up.
What facts resurfaced about MJ before his death in 2006 or even 2005 since he didn't even commit the crimes he was alleged or charged with? :nerd:

As for Jordan, that other stuff is irrelevant and not even crimes. I do wonder if he really did neglect and abandon his sister after his father allegedly raped her.
When will the media go after Walt Disney??

Huh?
 Going after dead men now?

Truth be told, I've disliked Cosby for years for all those "pull your pants up, learn to speak properly, stop going to jail" rants he loves to go on, as if the plight of the African American is self-caused and so simple.

Glass houses are a *****, Bill.

He said the same **** Marcus Garvey, MLK, and every old black leader preached to the younger generation for decades. Why yall so hurt by that ****?
MLK did not preach that.

And people are hurt by it because it's ********.

Pull your pants up? Please.

Be a father. Speak proper English. Stop going to jail.

Because none of that has to do with the education systems forced on people in the hood, poverty and systematic oppression, and mass incarceration.

How the **** am I supposed to overcome all the hurdles placed in front of me before I was even born, thrive, get my doctorate degree and be a father to my children when I'm catching 15 year bids just for standing on the wrong street at the wrong time.

As I said, the plight of the Black man isn't some simple riddle easily solved by pulling your pants up and enunciating your words better.

But Bill Cosby, and through him Fox News, and the racist conservative upper class would love for people to believe that.

No. **** you, Bill Cosby.

Schadenfreude doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about this.

Dude's a so called Black leader, yet he relishes every opportunity he gets to tear down the Black man.

"They take our umbrellas from us and push us out into the rain, then blame us for getting wet."
You know, most of this is true. I find it hypocritical that the same dudes defending Cosby in these threads throwing doubt on the victims were the same ones going hard as hell on Barkley a few weeks back.

This dude is a couple years away from kicking the bucket anyways.

What's the point in all this? All of these women waited far too long to bring out this 'evidence'

What lawsuit could even be filed at this point? About 20 odd years too late, the statutes of limitations has passed in all 50 territories.

I don't get the motive. He's still caking, and will continue to cake until he dies..

There were lawsuits and accusations made.

None of this is new news. Some of the women never went to the police until it was too late when they heard it'd happened to others. Most of the women who accused him couldn't prove anything, so it was his word against theirs, so no charges filed.

There was a woman who could prove some of it and sued him a couple of decades ago, and had it gone to trial there were about a dozen women lined up willing to testify against him, so Bill settled to make sure it never got into courts and none of those things could become public record.

Just because he's going to die some day doesn't mean these women should just shut up and eat it.

If he really did the things they accuse him of doing then they're well within their right to speak up about it.

That's great and all but it's November 2014, not decades ago.

All im saying is it just seems like a wasted effort. They could absolutely drag his name through the dirt and it could stay there.. But he will still live comfortably regardless for the rest of his (almost up) life.

The time they had to speak up and prove their accusations has long since past. They will not get anything out of this other then their 15 minutes.
Aint no wasted efforts. If you a rapist, you a rapist. It's not oh you're real old now so ppl shouldn't know this. Expose these ************* whenever.
Has anyone came out within the statue of limitations?

If not, this is really a bunch of gossip.

Not a single one, which is why my care tank is running on empty.
So the old man next door has raped 20 women in his life time, of age and under age. Never got charged let alone convicted so he's not registered as a sex offender. You don't care? :rolleyes :smh: You sound like Cam'ron talking about he'd just move if a known terrorist was living next door

So what are you supposed to do? The same law that makes him a bad person is the same law keeping him out of jail.

What is caring gonna do?

The accusations have been there but nobody believed them...

Which is exactly why some people stayed quiet...

Go read up on the stigma of rape and come back
That's like saying I've robbed every store in North Carolina, and have never been caught, so people don't believe I'm a thief, but AS SOON as I get caught, and it's on the news, evwrybody is throwing shade, talking bout "I knew that ***** was robbing everybody"...

Kinda like that one house at the end of your block where you grew up seemed to always have the flyest whips parked out front and dudes never seemed to be at work during 9-5 hours..

Then you one day you're on the school bus in the morning and you see FBI jackets with shotguns all over the place, carrying cardboard boxes out of the house.

Then you be like " i KNEW they was moving weight" even though you didn't have proof prior to the bust?

I've never witness anyone public shame anyone for being raped.

How does that even work?

It baffles me how often the "women know what they're doing in a hotel room at 2am" type of remarks.

These women aren't claiming he forced himself and they froze up.

These women are claiming they've been DRUGGED. The drugging is a pretty consistent variable in these stories.
i'm baffled by this as well.  HE DRUGGED THEM.  That says more about HIS intentions than it does anything else whether or not they were there for sex in the first place

That's not true though... multiple came out within the statute of limitations but couldnt prove it enough to warrant prosecution a la Jameis

Winston.

He also paid/settled out of court with a few.

Again, these aren't new allegations...

So women who are raped don't have to walk around living with the fact that they've been raped... or better yet, when a bunch of anonymous nobodies start calling them liars and gold diggers because there's no waaaaaaaay Cliff Huxtable could have ever done anything wrong?

I understand what youre saying but internal shame is not public shame, and if you havent figured out people are go-out-of-their-way-EXTRA mean on the internet by now.....:smh:

Yeah consent is the key word. I'd call it coercion if not 100% consensual.

Example, "if you don't suck the pudding pop you'll never work in this town, ever". While I wouldn't outright say yo that's rape, it's clearly malicious and a means of forcing an outcome.

Falls in that sexual gray area.

The way peopel are defending Bill is the same way the church members were defending that one megachurch pastor after he was caught banging them boys... dude with the fake jerry curl

Have you ever known any chicks that were raped?

Repped.

And to be CLEAR on what I have been saying, I am not defending Bill whatsoever.

I just don't trust 100% of these allegations. But I bet a majority of them are true

Yeah that's sinister...on the bad side morally...but as a person w/ agency....you have a choice here. W/ rape. The choice has been taken away.

You do realize, even if you had intended to have sex with someone anyway, if they do it without your given consent, it's still rape?

Darren Sharper was drugging women and men who came home with him after dates just because he liked to do it. He didn't "have to" but he got a thrill from it. Does that make him any less of a rapist?
