NBC employee claims Bill Cosby paid off women, invited young models to dressing room.

Accused and charged are two different things.

Jared already going to prison. I wouldn't say what he did has gone under the radar at all. I think he's a pretty current and recent example. Just the other day I heard dude from Glee is a rapist and collects mad child porn. Granted he aint really that famous but it got coverage.

You should look in to Woody Allen. Outside of personal opinion he literally did nothing wrong or illegal. He never molested his step-daughter or anything like that. That's never been the accusations despite ppl trying to make it that way. To me his situation is more of an older man younger woman thing that only seems nasty if you assume he was a father to her, which he was not.

Didn't know Rob Lowe was a statutory rapist. So you may have a point there (unless he was underage as well)

Big Ben is a rapist just like Kobe imo. Both of them didn't even get as bad as backlash as most. I mean ppl still call dude Rapelisthberger or w/e to get under his skin.

Common sense tells me Woody Allen is on some creep ****. Marrying your stepdaughter looks real funny.

Rob Lowe was 24, the girl was 16.

Fans on message boards call Ben a rapist but the media has forgotten about that ****. I don't know if Ben is or not but I do know they would not be that forgiving if a black athlete got accused TWICE. Bruthas get ripped apart for dancing or yelling at teammates.

Like I said, if you just go off on face value you can run with that.

If you look in to it and see that Woody wasn't living with them, wasn't on good terms with Mia and was not involved in their lives much, you realize he was only her step-father in name. She was busy adopting kids while he was busy making movies. They weren't even married. Only together for 3 years. He got with Soon-Yi after she was 21.

I read a detailed article on this back when the Woody thread was on the 1st pg for a min and it pretty much made me realize I shouldn't have been judging this situation just by how I think it seems

Rob Lowe was 24, the girl was 16.
Depending on the state there may be nothing wrong with this

I will say though, R. Kelly seems to get made fun of for banging a teenage girl on tape more than it seems he gets criticized. I have not seen the backlash he's gotten for this. The vid came out, the trial was underway and his career did not take a hit from my perspective. Almost like he got more popular. Son aint a registered sex offender or anything close to that.

Yeah but the media forgets all the time. It's them who have to keep moving on. They moved on from the black guys (who stayed famous) accused of this stuff just like they move on from the white guys. The NFL and football culture seem to be a bit set in their ways anyway (prejudice/racist) though.

There's tons of women that still hate Tyson and call him a rapist. Boycotted when he was on an ep of SVU. There's ppl that still don't rock with Woody and his movies off of the same reasoning you stated. There's actors that won't work with Roman Polanski cuz he's a straight up rapist pedophile. He's notoriously known for fleeing the country over what he did.

Now I'm not denying when black ppl do something in the public eye it seems most of the time they get a much more raw deal like ppl are just waiting for them to **** up but I don't believe this is the case with Cosby AT ALL. ************ was beloved by many regardless of race from what I saw. To me he doesn't qualify as somebody who should be getting this defense or benefit of the doubt.

Know what though, he did what he did, but it's tough to watch them drag him out and parade around like that at his age. The imagery just doesn't sit right with me, like how they'd parade around runaways back in the day.

agree with this 100%

Stop the conspiracy ********. Accusing anyone of sexual assault, ESPECIALLY someone of Cosby's stature, will definitely receive unwarranted scrutiny and peer pressure to keep quiet. Being from IL and following the whole Patrick Kane ordeal this past summer, Blackhawks fans were caping for the dude saying **** like "He's Patrick Kane, he can get laid anytime he wants" or "The girl provoked him and even brought him home" justifying the whole damn thing. Cosby is no different, he is beloved in the black community so some people will rationalize that he can't do it but anyone is capable of rape. And y'all really saying that all these white women (some of them aren't white fyi) hatched a conspiracy to take a down a black man even though they don't know each other and this happened over the course of 4 decades and Cosby even admitted to buying drugs with the intent of giving them to women to have sex with them. It's way easier to believe that Cosby is a serial rapist, because he is.

And any Black man supporting Cosby should be ashamed of themselves, he has been an Uncle Tom for quite some time.

I can agree with that. Like I said before I do think he's guilty in some of these situations.

Do something wrong and use your race to explain you get punished for your actions

Well history has shown us that your race will be used to punish you in the court system. And I'm not even talking about Bill Cosby.

2015. Year most cops were indicted ever in U.S.

Wait, people are actually defending Woody Allen now?
This is what I read with an open mind that changed my approach to it:

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/01/27/the-woody-allen-allegations-not-so-fast.html

If those are all facts. He didn't marry his step-daughter cuz he was never her step-father and as for his actual daughter and those allegations a bunch of holes were poked in to that too.

There's nothing to defend though since he aint break no laws.

i remember reading this article last year or so, that was straight cronyism to the highest power.  The author should be ashamed

The hell does popping or not have to with slipping it in your drink unknowingly. You saying that is even worse, like let's just pop a molly in her drink, she ain't eem know it. Like it's ok.

Don't put words in my mouth when did I say it was cool to slip **** in girls drinks?

I'm just saying the same way we recreationally do xans, lean and molly people used to recreationally do qualudes.

In the 90s.

As for those other guys you mentioned, when they got caught up are you saying that was a conspiracy?

Tyson was living a wild life and wasn't that smart

Kobe raped that broad

Pac's rape case? or death?

Lets face it, MJ did sleep in beds with kids, acted sus all the time, he wasn't that smart and ppl wanted money.

I wasn't there so I really can't concretely say whether any of those cases happened or not. Although, there are holes in each of those situations, except I can't really speak on the Kobe one I never really paid attention to it.

I was referring to Pac's rape case that he went to prison for.

Rusty was saying that the victims of Cosby wouldn't/didn't get anywhere with those accusations because there were white higher ups wouldn't let their cash cow take that L. And there have been numerous black men who've been prosecuted for sexual assault claims with white higher ups who profited off of them. All of the guys named had many white dudes getting fat off of them. It didn't prevent them from being  charged/going to trial/prison.

I was actually trying to point out that his whole notion that "white people" would have pounced on the opportunity to slander Cosby back in the day just because of his race is kinda BS.

a) He was a cash cow to many powerful white men, so he would have gotten protection their cash cow anyway.

Even white supremacist will do things to help black folk if it is their financial interest. Reagan didn't get rid of affirmative action not because black or white liberals was against it.It was large corporation that fought to keep it, because it broken the monopoly white males had on middle management jobs, and allowed firm to drive wages downward.

b) White supremacy likes images of well to do black Americans under the right conditions. Because they can always use it as a way to downplay systemic oppresion.

One some "Hell black folk, don't worry about your civil rights being under constant threat, drugs being pumped into your neighborhoods from countries allied with the government, or the fact we are blaming the black community for all those problems" just be like Cosby.

But if Bill was using his platform to rock the white supremacist boat, and spit the realness to his people and the public, then I can see some people trying to dig up any dirt they can on the man

He wasn't, he was has harmless as can be.

While I'm firmly against dudes using the race arguements to defend Cosby, and find the suggestions of a conspiracy kinda laughable

Let us remember:

-Blacks get the short end of the stick in the court of public opinion, and get railroaded by the criminal justice system all the damb time. It is beyond crisis levels at this point

So I understand why dudes feel they have to explore that possibility. I don't agree, but I understand

-And lets remember another situation where race was used to explain why their shouldn't be a punishment for someone's actions.....The affluenza kid

So not like black have a monopoly on the "race card" anymore.

Just that for blacks, it is like a bonus card we gotta pull out an swipe to get a lil credit

For whites, it is like a no clip coupon. That joint is already programmed the system. The discount comes up instantly.

--------

With all that being said, Cosby looks guilty as ****, and no black person should be making

themselves look silly trying to play the race card, and ignoring the evidence to try to defend his
man

People who use the term "race card" are closet racists

In no situation is that ever cool to use. Thats making fun and light of racism that still exists today.

Truth.

If we gonna be real about this "race card" thing. WS have been using it since the 1400's to 2016. This country was built on them using the "race card".

Damn this whole time I was sure Rusty was a white dude
