PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Bill Cosby testified in 2005 that he got Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with, and he admitted giving the sedative to at least one woman and "other people," according to documents obtained Monday by The Associated Press.

The AP had gone to court to compel the release of the documents; Cosby's lawyers had objected on the grounds that it would embarrass their client.

The 77-year-old comedian was testifying under oath in a lawsuit filed by a former Temple University employee. He testified he gave her three half-pills of Benadryl.

Cosby settled that sexual-abuse lawsuit for undisclosed terms in 2006. His lawyers in the Philadelphia case did not immediately return phone calls Monday.

Cosby has been accused by more than two dozen women of sexual misconduct, including allegations by many that he drugged and raped them in incidents dating back more than four decades. Cosby, 77, has never been criminally charged, and most of the accusations are barred by statutes of limitations.

Cosby resigned in December from the board of trustees at Temple, where he was the popular face of the Philadelphia school in advertisements, fundraising campaigns and commencement speeches.

Yeah I sort wanted to give Bill the benefit of the doubt when it was a couple women. But when the body count started rising, and other rumors started surfacing, it was oblivious ole boy was outchea living treacherous

I cringed every time dudes like Tariq used to try to defend him.

Dude was a serial rapist, plain and simple, and should be rotting in jail right now.

Tariq didn't defend him...he just thought it was funny how a joke from burress made folks decide to come after him again. I mean it shouldn't take a comedian making a joke for a rapist to get exposed.

Bill should've BEEN out the paint yet he continued being out here talking down on black people. **** that rapist ******

Talking about he hasn't been convicted of anything, slandering the women making accusations

Talking about a white conspiracy to defame Bill cause he wanted to buy NBC, and that they doing this to steal his wealth.

Tariq was talking all that mess.

Meh I took it another way....for one bill trying to buy NBC was decades ago so it doesn't even make sense to what's going on currently. He was just going through Bill history


I mean to anybody with common sense it is weird that dude got away with this for decades. The people who helped cover him up are just as guilty as Bill. They all can burn for what I care

Sad for Hannibal + a social media explosion to occur before Bill got his proper exposure. These networks protected their black puppet who was #1 **** in condemning lower income black people
