My breaking point has already passed. I havent bought a pair of Jordans since Concords low. Im glad I struck out on Legends and Infrareds. As bad as I would like to have the Chicago 10s and Bred 1 lows i will not give Nike/JB another one of my hard earned dollars. The money I have been saving from shoe releases will go to a possible project car or stay in bank and stack. I have been giving a strong thought to putting my Olive IX/Powder X/Chicago I to the side and giving my 100+ pair of Jordans to a church or shelter. Im not feeling Jordans any more. This brand prestige is going down the toilet. Nike has let the paranoid, google search era yuppies turn the brand from INNOVATION into HYPE. Every week its an expensive gimmick and a goose chase to go along with it. Nike was juggernaut in the 90s and did not have to resort to this weasel like business to push kicks and influence. Nike used to respect and be grateful for its consumers. Thank you notes on the box. Motivating product description and advertisment. Fair pricing. This is what helped create the culture of sneaker collection. Now its a soulless hobby and sheep typical reaction to its downfall is just "u mad" "u old" or my favorite since the fraggle rocks dropped "u salty".

While I do agree with 100% ... There is a but though. As the OG's have said before, I remember Jordan releases (more than a few but I can not recall how many exactly) would literally sit on the shelf in V.I.M. until they went on sale. The majority of us couldn't afford Jordans then, and even though pairs sat, dudes were still snatching them right off of your feet (Pre cameras everywhere era) ... This is just another phase that Nike has let spiral out of control ... Back in the days you worried about the stick up kids, and now you worry about paying resale or crying about bots. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I wish these ***** was black though.

so hol' up, just because i'm a "sneakerhead" and i spend bands on kicks means i'm not a regular person? i mean, it's not like i'm a celebrity. it's not like i'm rich. i just hustle hard and buy wtf i want. to my knowledge, we are all regular folks in here. we just like shoes more than most ppl. just like some like cars or clothes or stamps or coins or whatever else more than the next person. does than mean they aren't regular ppl? :lol:

Just Don are selling them for $350 if you either buy the jacket or hat correct? Then Nike is charging $275 as there retail price right?
 
these are trash no matter what collab it is lol. like others have said in here, if this was just a gr from jb with no just don name for regular price they would likely sit. this thread would be 2 pages. funny how something as simple as a name can almost single handedly carry the shoe. it's a Jordan 2. why is it any different because it carries the name just don? JB could do a gucci or Louie voiton collab (don't know spelling, don't care..) and people would literally die over them

Are you Paying over $200-300 bucks for shoes

Do you have more then 20 pairs of $200-300 sneakers with some that are UNWORN.

Not really new to buying kicks but Im relatively new here at NT. I figured I'd come to this thread and try to like this shoe. Can't do it. Yall got it. I hope you style lords clean up. I will say this: If jb retros the 2s in the correct og mold then it'll trump this release in my book. Don't care how limited these are.

Also Don C 2s = filling pieces much. At least to me. Whenever i start to like these....i think of those and recant my sentiments.

Oh well. God bless those who are trying to cop. The people clamoring for these and the frags make me wanna buy a little stock in jb/nike.
 
Infrared 2's (and almost EVERY 2 this year) has sold out. That "they woulda sat in the shelf" argument stopped being valid eons ago.

And supreme used quilted leather WAY before FP.

we all know nothing REALLY sits these days obviously. but these would have honestly very likely "sat" in modern terms. as in at least a few days to week(s). just saying
 
i think the jacket woulda been the dopest piece of the trio if not for that terrible sig on the back. :smh: still would never cop it tho. the hat is the worst of the 3. all are bad tho. i think they shoulda done a black pair. and they should never have added that terrible quilt pattern. :x

the shoes should be all supple, butter, italian leather. and instead of suede it should be python like it is on the hats. i woulda been down for a pair then.
