Of course I wanted the kicks. I have the money, but I also won't be forced to buy TWO things I don't want either. Bottom lines, it is scummy to make someone buy one of your products just to get another one of the products that you really want; especially if someone drives hours to get there and doesn't know that ahead of time. People were able to buy the pack separately the first day...but they can't the second day. Say what you want, but that's scummy. People accept this crap so it exists.

Didn't Bbbloke work with Don C on the website? Or was he just sending cryptic messages? If the former, then the bundling of merch isn't surprising since Yeezy Supply does the same thing. Sucks for the consumer but good way to move product and f-over resellers.

No, that's not true. I can live without getting them. I have the blue pair and I am fine with that. I guess I'm alone thinking it is wrong for someone to force another $450 hat to get the pack that already has a hat. Jackets were sold out at the time, but even that I'm still not cool with. Buy my overpriced product so you can buy my other overpriced product. :lol:

Well, I'm not a reseller so he f-over me too, especially since I didn't know he was going to force my hand to buy the pack. He didn't do that on day 1. Well, I didn't bite. Just like the lame Jordan packs and Penny packs where they give you one good shoe and another crappy shoe. I will pass on that crap all day. It's just scummy.

Yeah but the Yeezy site had the option to purchase without the merch. Besides a lot of people wanted that merch because those had resell value too. And I don't think the JD site made you order merch to get the kicks this time around.
 
Hey, I'm alone on this and that's cool. I've seen things get worse and worse over the years. This kind of stuff just gives them the green light to keep upping things. People accept it and here we are. Soon we will be at $1000 for two shoes in a pack.

So then you should think of Nike as a scammy hustler too for making you buy the hat and pin right?

And for the record, I don't like the fact that Nike or Don do this... It sucks
I could've had this pack reserved but passed because I didn't want the stupid hat and pin
at the same time though I can see why they'd do this... Because they can

Maybe it's a blessing he forced my hand because we all know this pack shouldn't be $650.

Not too long ago we were getting Bin shoes with nice quality and it was far from these garbage prices and the forcing of ones hand. :smh:

I feel you. I wish we could go back to the days of no "hype" and people living with Ls but nope. People will do whatever it takes to get their hands on some sneakers. Can't blame capitalism for this one, this stems from materialism.

i get what your saying but it goes back to it being a good business move.

packing the 2s with an item that isnt selling will make him more money than packing the 2s with another hot item that will sell on its own
