Just Don x Air Jordan 2

I had a similar incident happen with me for the Supreme Camo 5s. First day people wanted 700-750. Copped in November for $380 and seen them in my size as low as $320. Ill eventually get these, people have to start getting desperate sooner or later

Thing about Supream stuff personally I feel it's more sellers than buyers plus they looked like crap. They didn't appeal to a higher crowd.

Oh they will sell for 1.2 EVENTUALLY but to pay that price right now is pretty ridiculous. The shoe came out a few days ago, no one knows the real quantity either. Then there is a pending restock. People just let money burn through their pocket. Retail is not possible. But a reasonable resale price is, if people don'
I honestly question if either on of you are real sneakerhead, TBH.

1st - You keep saying a pending restock? Like the Fragment 1 restock or the blue Just Don restock, that literally restocked maybe fewer than 50 pairs, just enough to drive the price on them even higher?

2nd - Of course, $2.1K or $1.3K aren't realistic prices, however for every pair sold at $850, there is one sold at $1.2K on eBay.

3rd - You insinuated that these aren't exclusive because "the blue Don's restocked at different boutiques last year"... which means look back at the 1st point. Let's not kid around, they are exclusive.

4th - I honestly haven't seen anyone, at least in this thread say "you better cop for 1.2 or 1.3 while they're that price", simply because they aren't at that price now. Now I've seen people say cop at "$950 - $1050" or $900 is a steal or good deal, because those are true statements. Will these get to $1.2K - $1.3K, most likely but that a few months away. So these hypebeasts you talk about, who are they?

5th - Your looking to call people hypebeasts and broke boys, but from your texts, your looking like a lowballer honestly.

1st - There was a restock, that was the only thing he debated was that there was an restock.
2nd - There may be prices sold at this price, but as of right now most popular shoe re-seller sites still have pairs instock due to the high price.
3rd - I NEVER INSINUATED that they weren't exclusive. He just got mad because he's trying to hype them up to be some Holy Grail of shoes. In the end they are exclusive, but they are more hyped than anything with no history behind them, just like Don C's expensive "python" basketballs, footballs, and key chains LMAO!
4th - Maybe I should change my verbiage because the word "hypebeast" makes people so angry. You are "hype-driven" and spend-happy if you would pay 1.2K or 1.3K right now on these shoes when you can get them lower from negotiating.
5th - This guy has mentioned having money to me when no one ever brought that up. A hit dog will holler, that's what makes him look like he's broke. He can't sell those pairs for that high so now its time to lower the price. It's called NEGOTIATION. The person texting who was 1.3K FIRM, sold them for $875 to me today LMAO. Anybody has taken a class on Personal Finance knows that anything can be negotiated especially if you know the value and how much you're willing to pay.

Only fitting that on Groundhog Day we're having the same discussion about resale.

On this shoe.

On every shoe.

As if we don't know how this ends.

Quick question guys, for NDC raffle, I have multiple debit cards on my name, could I enter more than once?

Wow, I have different accounts, different phone numbers that already verified and different cards in my name, I never tried

Note he entered on sneakers for all of his they never ask to verify anything.

He has 3 Apple devices.

I tried using my phone. I verified all 3 of my attempts with the same number

Only got through on one tho.

I recommend using it apple sneakers app next time if u plan to do multiple tries

I got 2 packs and I didn't have to put in on a CC like yourself.  As a matter of fact you're probably using my tax money to fund your sneaker habit.

the blue don now goes for a round a stack
why would this shoe with slightly better quality and a hat sell for less
if you dont find a low price with in this month its a rap for you
you gonna be paying a thousand plus
people selling for the low now are people that were tryna get the quick flip
all those people dont have the money to hold out to sell for a higher price

One last time....

1st - I reread the texts & your summary statement, he never mentioned a restock.. YOU did. Yes, there was a restock, but you brought it up as a way to negotiate the price. A restock of a few pairs or less, is enough to drive the price UP, and actually HURT your negotiating tactics. Tell me, with the Blue Don "restocks", how much did it lower the price... or did it raise it due to the supply was no where near the demand.

2nd - Again, you point me to every $850 sell & I will show you 3 going for $1000+

3rd - Your direct quote is "He's been telling people how "exclusive" they are, but doesn't even know the blue Don's restocked at different boutiques last year." That is INDEED insinuating that they aren't exclusive, solely because of the "restocks" of the previous Just Don II.

4th - No, your are not a hypebeast, hye-driven, or spend-happy, if you pay market or a little over market price. Some people just have the funds to get what they want, and don't have the time to negotiate prices nad have back and forth convos from complete strangers. Flight Club & popular resellers, like 23Penny or Sole88, are quicker & give buyers peace of mind that the transaction is legit.

5th - Your right he did bring up money... only after you lowballed him $850. I honestly wouldn't have even responded to you if I were him, simply because YOU know they are going for $1K at the moment. Yes, negotiating is a HUGE part of personal fiance business, but if you think a offer of $850 to an asking price of $2.1K $1.3K $1075 isn't somewhat of a lowball, then you need a couple more business classes.

Key rule of business, never offer a deal you wouldn't consider yourself.

anybody offering a 3 digit price that's not over $900 is low balling if your keeping it all the way funky

Forreal. The dude offered to sale at $1075. If he offered $900-975, with the point of local pick-up, straight cash, no fees, I could rock with it. But $850?? Nah, man.

THIS. Cats offered me $900 like the Blues aren't going for nine hundo on their own... People who don't know how to negotiate kill me. I've had cats on Grailed offer $25 for Supreme shirts, $50 for DS limited sneakers. That's just offensive. If you want a deal like that wait for the next crackhead at the barbershop.

It is a deal I would consider, especially knowing that they were acquired by illegitimate means and so they didn't even purchase them for anywhere near $650. He accepted the purchase price so I guess it wasn't much of a lowball right?

Damn nters admitting a price is lowball? You know it's a problem when that happens

Let's talk about rocking and not resell for a minute....

Has anyone used JM Repel or Crep Protect on them yet? I want to cure mine before I leave on vacay but I'm a little hesitant.

I used Crep. Why would you be hesitant? These products have never discolored any of my shoes. I use a similar product to Crep on my suede dress shoes which are very expensive with no hesitation. I would do the same thing with Crep.
