Interesting point. Punk left when he didn't have a program. He wasn't in a feud or anything. Now the question is, did it have THAT big of an impact on their plans.

Also, punk is an independent contractor. Does that necessarily mean he has that much level of obligation towards the company. Sure, they're paying him but at the end of the day he's a contractor. These guys don't even get insured from this huge multi billion dollar call .

Also, punk was suspended but Vince told investors that he was on a sabbatical. This messed with his money and he didn't get his royalty check apparently
 
Punk explains the situation of that guy at the Blackhawks game who posted that punk laughed at him when he asked for a photo

Punk laughed at him because the dude said "HEY PHIL can I get a photo?" And was very rude. Punk shook it off and ended up taking pics with fans later that night

DC you might know about this more than me, but wasn't it P.S. Hayes (or maybe all the Freebirds) that tried to get a union formed in the early to mid 80s?..I know that there was at least 1 larger name wrestler that tried to get something off the ground, but the promoter/s found out about it before it could get done..
 
All I wanted from Punk was an explanation. Glad he's giving it here.

With an industry that loses so many of its workers while the system banks on their livelihood, I'm glad he left.

And the fact that they don't even provide insurance is laughable. Too many people died from this industry that didn't need to man. Too many.

I kinda wish it wasn't Colt interviewing him so that some good questions could of been asked, he said he was going to play Devils Advocate, but when he starts asking something.. its like he doesn't want to offend his friend (which makes sense) and backs off it or asks it in a way he can pull the answer Punk's direction.

Regardless, glad we got some closure. My favorite Superstar of the past 10 years. :pimp:
