What are some of the classic albums that have come from your city or region??

All classic Wu Tang Albums. While some of them were from Brooklyn that movement was birthed in Staten Island.

And yeah R. Kelly definitely has a lot of classics under his belt, to this day I Wish gets me right in the feels

All of the gangsta boogie mixtapes are classics and infamous for the intros alone lol

Glad to see everyone else posting up their classics, some people im familiar with some im not but definitely gonna check em out. Hope we can all get put on to some other city's classics that we otherwise may not have been aware of. 
 
Yo I'm liking cats posting underground/independent/street album instead of the usual suspects.

Bay Area/Houston will dominate if thats the case :pimp:

Even though I'm not from the region, totally agree with these albums listed all three are dope albums, and stayed in rotation back in the day. Still have them on my Ipod. Some other albums from the Houston region I thought was dope was Geto Boys - Till Death Do Us Part, South Circle - Anotha Day, Anotha Balla, The Convicts, and the Odd Squad (Heavily slept on album) just to name a few.
 
I bought that Andrenaline Rush when it came out, Buk on Andrenaline Rush (the song) set the mood for that album to me.
 
Going along with all the southern albums that got posted, I used to visit my grandparents in memphis every summer and got put on to these 3 albums which are personal favorites

I was gonna mention In My Lifetime, but wasn't sure if people actually in Memphis looked at it as a classic or not. That's such a good album, and "We Started This" is probably one of their best songs. So real
