Walked into my local FTL this morning and was able to grab a sz. 10. I'm surprised these have no hype, the Teal IVs had more hype but I think these are way nicer.

Years from now, I think these are going to be really sought after, especially with the story of them being the initial Grape samples.
 
they still everywhere online...got mine at hibbets with ease....that back story about being the sample adds a nice touch! gonna be rocking these hard at the hive with my 13 lows

dont see a lot of difference tbh if anything i like the new ones better. plus that sample is more than 20 year old, the original mold could've changed.

Got to mall at 6 opens at 8 3 guys in line granted I went to the smallest of 3 mall around me. I new no hype on these new I could go to mall at noon and not wait but decided to make sure I get my size at ftl cause I had a gift card.

Peopled slept good solid shoe! but I get why alot coming this month and alot happen last month.

You took better pics than I did, but I think you might agree that no pics really do justice to how "Navy" these are in person. They don't look black at all as they do in the pics, it's a unique, striking kind of Navy.
 
turned these down in person....reminded  me of the 2013 fives in terms of quality
 
Got a pair on SNKRS app to check them out. I was on the fence but 5s are my favorite so we will see.
