The official Air Stab thread

A bit too much white for my tastes. Still nice, though. I'll hold out for some more colorways.
 
Love the"Air Stabs" the OG Emerald Green bringing back good memories from more youthful times. Hopefully an easy release to pick up.

Need the Chlorphyll with the Black Teeth OG style though, the re-release a few years back was good, but not quite right with the color blocking. Brothers pair below.

The seller id4shoes has an FSR up to 11.5 of the Emeralds on eBay. 109.99 plus 20 shipping.

It's mainly the shape in my opinion. The new molds are so "snub toe" looking

Also, there's those slight details that throw off the look of the new from the OGs. The overlays and color on the midsole matchup for the most part on the OGs, on the retros they're way off. See highlighted areas

Sorta like that Grey/Volt pair, but I'd prefer to buy OG colorways only.

Yeah, those newer one's toe look horrible. But I have Mowabb-like colorway and Dave White's that were both Retro released several years ago and they also look better even though their toe boxes are rather closer to the newer ones somehow.

Yea the shape of the retro's is terrible but even that aside they couldn't get the colors correct and for that I can't pick these up.
 
The more pics of the latest retro that I see, the less I want them.

The shape looks worse than the first run of retros. :lol:

Same here... I'm disappointed, but at the same time i've got high hopes for better c/w.

Do this new batch of retros still runs kinda big for those who copped ? 
 
I was 10yrs old, circa 1988, looking for another pair of bball shoes (my IIIs were "play shoes")
Walked into a local spot w/ moms.
Left with white/navy Delta Forces, but man, the grey/white/green Stabs owned that shoe wall.
I remember it like it was yesterday.
