Went to see Stabs in a store today (looking for the Emerald Greens), saw those and the Black/Hot Pinks (the black is more like anthracite on those) and at first glance I was really surprised how good they looked. Sure, they're not the OG shape everyone wants, don't think we'll ever see that again. But they are nowhere near the bulky samples that have been posted in this thread and not too banana either. I think larger sizes (I wear 10.5) tend to be looking slightly better (sleeker). Tried them on, just had to have 'em so I bought them.
Don't have a cam here but these pics are pretty damn close to my pair.

Quality overall is pretty good, one or two small glue marks and a small green paint spot on the midsole but nothing important. Will be a hell of a job to keep that off-white suede upper clean though, real dirt magnets.

Scooped a pair of the Emeralds, not as bad as they're being made out to be at all. Will wait to scoop 2nd pair once they hit the sales.

So they are releasing these? Are these the production versions? If so the colored lace holes at the top are waaaaay off in color just like the samples posted earlier.
They are no way near the "Hot Lava" color accents on the rest of the shoe.

It looks like they're a translucent Lava to me. Still doesn't make it match any better, but explains the difference in color.

Are any of the new retros Leather on Leather like my 06 retros? I busted these out a couple weeks back, and my-oh-my was the leather buttery!
