As long as you know its true
What does that have to do with making good music, if nas is as relevant as you claim & made good music wouldnt he sell records? He's a better lyricist. Now we're going to call Nicki Minaj a better rapper cause she sells records? It's a different era in rap music, I mean I listen to Lil B and ignorant sh%# as much as the next man but I try not to use album sales as a judge of who is a better rapper.
Nas had his peak but I think he is still relevant, he's not selling as much as he used to but he can
Wait why am I arguing with someone who equates album sales to lyric prowess.....eff outta here.
As long as you know its true
Nope, I would honestly say once he dropped vol 2 and hard knock life as the single it was a wrap and nothing was going to stop him
For a rapper that doesn't make dumb superficial pop sh$$, he did really well.
As long as you know its true
You and I know Jay would have outshone big and Pac in the long-run. They would have died off as soon as Jay made Kanye emerge. Jay adapts to everything, which is why he remains relevant and on top of everybody for nearly 20 years.
Big and Pac would have stuck to their original shtick, joining the likes of Cassidy stuck in the past still trying to battle rap
Wash your face, and when you're done, wash it again.
Then go listen to Reasonable Doubt and go to sleep knowing that we have a true living hip-hop legend walking the earth, and we're able to witness it.
Once he's gone, there will never be another Jay-Z.
Let these facts sink in. Once you're no longer in your feels, realize that what I'm saying is true and learn to accept it.
BDW Oochie wally is a classic, as bad as it is. Oochie wally sounds like half of jayz' discography.
U forget about 03 Bonnie and ClydeOochie wallie is a top 10 worst rap song of all time.
Stop talking to a LilB fan about hip-hop or music in general, fam.
Dude took the L as soon as he joined NT.
I just skim through his posts maybe reading the first word now.
His best work to date (to me).
But I always wonder how different it would be if Big and Pac hadn't died around that time.
And I wish Ma$e and Jay beef had fleshed out
Damn rap used to be cool.

It was over this girl from the ROC camp that Ma$e was hitting. Arion, from a skit on Harlem World.
He and Dame almost scrapped in NY over it too.

“All we hear is platinum that, platinum this. Platinum whips, nobody got no platinum hits."
Then this ***** retired
Mase was untouchable in his prime, he was "the guy" playing a sidekick
