I rarely ever buy sneakers anymore and I don't miss it one bit

there is no gray market.... its all done in the same place...
back door deals overtime production equals todays marketplace.. its quite simple...
nike/jordan lowered the quality of materials used therefore it has become easier for knockoffs to pass as authentic because its using the same materials.. slightly different cuts but overall 98 percent exact same shoe...
10 years ago knockoffs were so bad they were literally an eyesore from a black away,,,, now u gotta smell the inside of the sneaker to find out if its legit.. lol
havent bought a pair of NIKES in 2 years or so..
want to buy some knicks foams but ill wait til they go down a bit.. they're sitting hard...

couldn't care less. about ten years ago this would have annoyed me; now it's lightweight comical that adjectives like 'scary' and 'terrifying' are being thrown around in here. they're all made by using the same shady practices anyway. i haven't bought some kicks in years and i hardly ever wear athletic shoes. still rock the black and red foams that i copped in 11.

Quality of kicks have definetly gone down. Every air max model I've had since 06 360 have popped on me. Even casual/leather ones pop. And these were purchased nt, eastbay, ..etc
