NFL Week 14 In Review...

Does losing to the packers hurt the lions playoff outlook any? No?
Arizona winning yesterday was huge (and pretty much puts them in).. they have the tie breaker with the lions, cowboys and eagles (and 1 game up on all 3 with 3 left to play)

all teams in the running play someone else in the running in these last 3 weeks

this week:

eagles vs cowboys

seattle vs 9ers

next week:

zona vs seattle

final week:

49ers vs zona

packers vs lions

I didn't include the NFC south teams, as only 1 team will come out of that division

It would be wack as hell if the Cardinals made the playoffs at this point. Should have taken an L yesterday on that BS fumble call.

Ain't nobody trying to watch Drew Stanton and Kerwynn Williams.

it looks like Atlanta, Carolina or the New Orleans could win the division with 6 wins :x

at this point, I think they're in (even if they lose out, which would make them 10-6.. head to head wins vs lions, cowboys and eagles are huge).. but seattle wins the division

I "consider" you foolish for watching the Eagles get held to 139 yards, and coming away with Russ should be mentioned (sorry, considered) for MVP.

Even with garbage Sanchize, the Eagles offense has been humming and putting up yards/points/plays on everybody. They were absolutely handcuffed yesterday. If not for the fumbled punt, they score a single TD with under 150 yards, and like 40 plays run? :smh:

Russ isn't even the MVP of his own offense man. His own, offense.

He's been great for Seattle, and is very smart, and runs that offense and team well, but he is not the driving force of the team. Not even close to it. He's literally won games with a single throw the entire game, why? That defense and run game. When those two things struggle, they struggle.

Ravens wont make the playoffs IMO

Have you seen their schedule? They're in, and that's bad news for every top AFC team.

They can beat anybody in the playoffs.

So....we could really see a 5 or 6 win Falcon, Panther or Saints team vs Drew Stanton and the Cardinals as a playoff game........

And one of them would make it to atleast the second round.

Turrible

I don't have a problem with the Cardinals in the second round. What they've done with a decimated roster and a barely relevant QB prior the season is amazing.

I think the Falcons are going to finish .500, win the division and a playoff game.

They ain't playing that bad even in games they lost recently.

--Obviously there was another piss poor performance by Kap Sunday.  Either way, our playoff chances were slim to all but closed after that loss at home to the Rams.  As far as Harbaugh goes, his inability to make the necessary changes to the offense or personnel just might cost him his job.  As a coach, he can't be but so stubborn, learn how to or be accepting of change when things are not working out correctly.

--Good job by Jeff Fisher with the captains at the coin toss, way to rub it in the Diplomats players and front office faces with that move and more importantly that victory.  Speaking of change, time for that entire team and fanbase to do some collective soul searching.

--Hoyer did enough to get the Browns to win yesterday, he didn't do a great job but he did just enough.

--What has happened to the Saints this year??

--Teddy Bridgewater getting the job done

Hey @Deuce King, how does my *** taste?
Calm down champ, calm down.  At the end of the day, that game is and was meaningless for both teams.  With as bad as Oakland has been this year and now with new talks of the Raiders moving to Los Angles again you have nothing, absolutely nothing to be excited about.

It's only meaningless cause you're team lost

Trust me when I tell you it was meaningless because of the team we were playing against, and even some members of that fanbase.  Not taking a shot or dissing, but just telling it like it is.  The outcome of the game didn't matter.

IMHO I think Arizona dodged a bigger bullet than people realize by winning yesterday.

I think that loss, combined with their difficult remaining schedule, would of led to a collapse and they would of missed the playoffs.

They're lucky they were facing Alex Smith in the 4th quarter yesterday, I think Mr. check down saved that playoff birth for them honestly.

Any QB with any capabilities of throwing it deeper than 3 yards could of won that game yesterday.

I think it matters in the sense that it's the final straw that will result in your coach being fired, your QB losing his confidence forever, your window finally closing, and your team committing back to rebuilding for another 10 years, champ.

Back to the status quo for the rest of the millennium.
