Not sure if this is appropriate to post here but I'll explain
A few weeks ago me and a guy was going to do a trade, we talked all the way up unto the DB 8 release, where I agreed to trade my DB 8s DS for his Used Yeezy 1 Tans, the guy set me tagged pictures and everything. I wanted him to ship out first and he disagreed, he then suggested me to use a middleman named "Terry Seets".
This so called "Terry" contacted me through email giving me his address to ship to etc, I found out today the actual Terry Seets (well known around the FB Kobe Group) lives in Illinois, the guy who impersonated Terry gave me an address in Florida , I don't have the guy I traded with's name (rookie mistake), I do have the impersonator's address who I shipped my shoes to the so-called middle man, they have not answered me back for the past few days. I shipped my shoes are December 1st but they did not get their until December 6th, I never been involved with this kind of situation before but I hope you guys can help
I already contacted their police department and they told me to contact mine, I did that as well and all they told me I could do was file a police report
If anyone can help me it'll be much appreciated, I can upload screen shots of our conversations between both the guy I traded with who even I talked to over the phone before it went down, his number, , etc and also the impersonator's address
