thoughts: passable as is after you switch for black laces. I still want to get the shine off the midsole paint tho. as I figured the 10.5 fits to me like an og 11 would.

the retro laces are 58" long. the og laces are 66" long tho.
 
Man, I am jealous of those who have these in hand already!  I am definitely going to have to call SP to see why my emeralds are still in "processing" status.  @Trydan  thanks for the measurements on the laces, i will be picking some up for these.  I have to admit that the mesh looks pretty close on these from the pics i have seen, doesn't look as padded as the original as others have noted .

Does any other shops have the emeralds? It would be to good to be true if they drop the OG white/black

imo the man is crazy for passing on one of the most beautiful shoes nike ever made but whatever.
 
@Trydan  no problem, i have been waiting for these forever as well.  I have a size 9.5 OG pair from jr. high that i haven't been able to bring myself to get rid of, so a pair in the right size that isn't a hyperfuse is MUCH needed.

My SP order finally comes on Tuesday, apparently they were waiting for another shipment before they could send mine out from my initial order, they did upgrade me to 3 day shipping so that was cool i guess.  Between you and @larrivee7  i am afraid they will be a half size big since i went TTS, so i will wait til those come before ordering more from champs. 

As far as the shop owner, i guess when you are running a business, business comes before nostalgia, so i can understand that :smile:

yeah when I saw those 360 fuses I was afraid nike would never retro these properly. am so glad its finally happening. had the black/white pair back in the day and they bit the dust last year. always wanted a wearable pair of the emeralds but never got one, they were all starting to crack by the time I got a pair.

will be wearing several pairs into the ground for sure so im stocking up now since these are good enough straight out of the box. I was afraid they would be inflexible bricks like most retros but so far they actually feel ok. if not for the lack of padding I could overlook the flaws but they seem to run big apart from that too.

my order from sp fell one business day late, so I got them that monday instead of friday... I almost didn't make it lol. :x was so tempted to overnight those, but too costly.

Definitely going with black laces though. The Emerald laces just don't do it for me.
