Could You See Yourself Living Outside the U.S.?

Depends on the race relations there. As a black guy, I don't wanna have the natives throwing bananas at me and such.
That's understandable. In all honestly from what I've read, black Americans receive more respect than you would think though of course there are still parts of these countries you would be wise to stay away from. There are also growing black populations in several places like Spain and so on. You should be absolutely fine in most big cities like London, Paris, Berlin, etc. I think about the same thing too.

Honestly Australia is probably a place I would NEVER visit.

I don't think I could. At best I could do a few months before I probably just pack up and go back to the states. I would do it for the experience but it couldn't be a long term move.

Let me guess..u never left the country before

I've been to Cozumel, Toronto, Montreal, St. Thomas, Jamaica, Grand Cayman Island, St. Thomas, and St.Kitts (where my family is from). I just like home, that's all.

Maybe I do, and I definitely have plans to travel but even then I don't see myself making a long term move if I decided too.

Temporarily, I could live in the UK, maybe Russia.

But long term I need to live somewhere that I can own guns. Switzerland, Norway, Sweden would all be options.

I love Europe so I would enjoy it.

were you working?

Were you doing visa runs every 2 months?
First three years it was strictly for Thai boxing and the last year and some change was spent working bere and there on movies, commercials, and whatever else fell in my lap.

Two of the four years I had multiple entry ED visas that were good for a total of 15 months each with a visa run every 90 days for a stamp.

Thereafter, I got 3 separate double entry tourist visas good for a total of six months each with the appropriate extensions and visa runs.

I also did a few two week visa runs here and there when needed.

Idk if I could live there permanently, but I'd be open to relocating to these places:

London
Paris
Zurich
Copenhagen
Stockholm
Vienna
Hong Kong
Madrid

Well I wouldn't want to have to work. So if I had the means my home would be just more of a base to recharge. I would just travel and go home when the romance wore off.

I think the essence of the question is getting a little lost. Would I live somewhere other than the states if money and work wasnt an issue? Absolutely.

But realistically, would I want to live in another country? Nope. Its kinda like going vacation. You always enjoy the first couple days and never want to leave, but towards the end of the trip, you kinda just wanna go home. Itd be cool to go to rome or japan or any of the other places you guys mention. But I think itd get old quick as the luster of a new places wears off

Plus I think its a little funny that most people are so quick to say that traveling the world is their dream but are completely oblivious to all the amazing things here in the US. If anything, id love to the rest of the US before moving on to other countries. just my opinion

From what I heard couple countries in Africa are mad racist in terms of your ethnicity. I could be wrong though.
Yes and no.

There are 3 major groups down in south africa, specifically Joburg

Black, coloured , and white....

You have quite a few middle easterners out there, too. I'm guessing geographical perspective has to do with that more than anything.

Apartheid just ended 20 years ago, so basically 20% of the whites controlled 80% of the country, while much of the black people scrambled around, lived in poverty, etc.

The middle ground are the coulered folks.

I would compare them to the Creole folks of here.

Most coulored South Africans are the lighter skin tons because they're a mix of black and white africans. They come from a very elitist back ground because they had the benefits of the white people, without exactly being white.

White people accepted the coloureds more than the Black south Africans, so there's MUCH tension between the two.

The funny part is, the coloureds right now aren't really too accepted by the Blacks OR the whites... I'm guessing after years of crapping on the blacks.. when apartheid ended, they tried to scramble back but things weren't kosher.

The coloured women are FINE AS **** because they can have white, black, middle eastern, etc all mixed in.... but you'll see many are poor and uneducated.

The black south africans are fly, too. but some people are just not too keen on african beauty b/c it highlights more africanoid features and not the caucasion features. The chicks have REALLY nice skin (mostly due to their diets) and are built like frickin brickhouses. It's amazing the average woman looks like a damn chick in a 2 Chainz "big booty o" video.

In regards to the business structure, it's still heavily tilted towards white people, but the government has taken a lot of steps to preventing that.

I'm not quite sure of the particulars, but a lot of the businesses that come in have to have native south africans, or black people or something... but there ARE requirements on the makeup of the leadership when it comes to the company.

Black south africans have a legitimate dislike for white people out there (mainly because apartheid). I talked w/ some older black dudes, and they just crapped all on them...

The thing is, it's still not equal, but they've made TREMENDOUS strides. What took us damn near 100 years... they've accomplished in 20. I think the advancement of technology plus looking at the history of america has a lot to do with it.

Any other questions, famb.... lemme know...

My aunt is a native south African... born and raised. They just recently moved to the states.

Good info for real. I personally have zero interest in living in Africa but rather S. Korea or Japan (Im Korean so obviously).

Just got me passport going to Belgium for 2 weeks in January at which time I'LL decide if I want to live in Paris

I would relocate to one of the major cities in Europe in the snap of a finger if given the opportunity. Maybe Seoul, or Tokyo for Asia but, anywhere in Africa and South America seems to Rialto stay for an extended period.
